Overview

MAKE UP FOR EVER is looking for an Intern, PR & Influencer Marketing. Based in the New York Office and reporting to the Associate Manager, PR & Influencer Marketing, this person will work closely with the internal PR department in meticulously tracking influencer and media coverage and reporting on results.

Responsibilities

  • Meticulously monitor and tag all influencer coverage via Tribe Dynamics, alerting the broader team to top coverage in real time.
  • Conduct daily searches to identify brand placements and add to Monthly PR Report.
  • Work with PR & Influencer Marketing Assistant to plan and execute large scale product mailings to social media influencers, pro makeup artists and traditional media editors (includes messenger and shipping).
  • Responsible for timely and flawless execution of any daily product send outs as they arise, including influencers, pro makeup artists, and traditional media editors.
  • Update PR media and influencer lists on an ongoing basis, as directed by the Assistant, PR & Influencer Marketing.
  • Maintain PR closet organization when in office.
  • Monitor social media for relevant and timely industry and competitor news (i.e. press trips, mailings, collaborations, etc.), alerting the internal PR team on an ongoing basis.
  • Assist with special PR projects, including but not limited to research and event setup/breakdown, when applicable.
  • Support pro artist relations as needed, including research, send outs and list maintenance
  • Learn necessary skills for effective communication with cross-functional partners

Qualifications

  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to demonstrate effective & professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changes and prioritize effectively
  • Have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong MS Office & PowerPoint skills
  • Sense of urgency
