Beauty By Imagination is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our expanding team. The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, evolving, and executing social media strategy for our rapidly growing, category-leading hair care, tools and accessories brands.

Candidates for this role must have experience managing all elements of social, including: strategy by platform, content calendar development, copywriting, creative development, influencer marketing, reporting, and paid amplification. You will work cross-functionally with other BBI departments to ensure strategy and message are aligned to brand and commercial goals, and that assets are engaging and drive MOM performance. You are a collaborative, agile self-starter who passionate about social media, committed to driving growth, and authentically curious about pop culture and other trends that fuel and inspire timely, relevant social content. You thrive in a fast paced creative environment and are able to pivot quickly to optimize initiatives when needed and capitalize on trends and opportunities that arise. Expertise required across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest.

Responsibilities

· Strategize, organize, and manage execution of monthly, weekly, and daily social media strategy by brand/platform.

· Project manage social media creative needs, ensuring brand assets are in line with other channels. Includes creation of creative briefs for internal creative team, managing freelance projects with outside creatives and managing budget and invoicing for these projects.

· Partner with any external agency partners to build and support our social media programs.

· Manage monthly reporting and present out to brand marketing partners and executive leadership.

· Collaborate with multiple teams and departments across the organization, representing the Social Team in appropriate meetings and on various projects as needed.

· Function as a community management point person by addressing social media responses and user generated content that is aligned with company’s social media guidelines, including when and how to respond. Liaise with Customer Service as needed.

· Assist in influencer management and seedings as well as influencer agency and partner management depending on brand objectives. This can include: influencer identification, negotiating and managing delivery of paid influencer content, developing and managing paid/unpaid influencer seedings, running point on execution and analysis of seedings, etc.

Requirements

· 4-6 years of professional social media experience (strategy, process, creative, reporting)

· Management experience that encompasses both people and projects

· Extensive knowledge of major social media platforms and technologies, how to tailor content by platform, what kind of content works best to build new audiences, retain existing ones, and meet specific marketing goals

· Previous expertise in social media marketing strategy and the entire social marketing funnel - paid, organic, owned and earned

· Early adopter of new and emerging social media platforms (must be able to speak to and demonstrate an acumen for the platforms and the people that use them)

· This role is NYC-based with a hybrid schedule of both in-office and remote workdays. Must be available to be in NYC as needed.

· Beauty/hair care and multi-brand portfolio experience preferred

· Familiarity with Dash Hudson is a bonus.
