We opened our flagship location in Manhattan's West Village in 2020, followed by our second and third NYC locations in 2021 (Upper East Side and Williamsburg). Our team grew from 25 to 85 employees in 2021, and we are continuing to scale with additional locations opening in NYC and launching in new cities throughout 2022.

As our Marketing Coordinator, you will assist in leading Small Door growth marketing channels, local and company-wide partnership opportunities, influencer marketing, and experiential concepts (especially surrounding new practice openings) to further accelerate and expand our footprint as we open additional NYC locations and beyond. You will work directly with the founders and our marketing and experience teams on building their vision into an elevated consumer brand that transforms the veterinary category. This position will report to Small Door's Brand Marketing Manager and it is based in our NYC HQ office, which has a hybrid work schedule with a blend of remote and in person 2-3 days/week.

What you'll do

  • Support Marketing team in executing brand strategy and key business objectives
  • Assist in updating marketing and brand calendars
  • Coordinate VIP product send outs and partnerships
  • Track and manage influencer master list and effectiveness of custom codes
  • Monitor and assist with review platforms (Yelp, Google, etc) and develop a scalable strategy to generate across all locations
  • Monitor all social media content; own community management process to actively engage with our customer on social, and to build an active community on social platforms
  • Deliver weekly campaign reporting across Marketing channels to share key learnings, ideas, and opportunities
  • Provide support to team executing marketing strategies surrounding practice openings, initiatives, and partnerships, as well as in day-to-day activities
  • Generate original content and collaborate with channel-specific partners (case studies, videos, blog, email, social media, etc) to drive growth
  • Partner with the Brand and Creative teams to brainstorm and test new marketing concepts that can drive performance improvements
  • Manage and be onsite for events surrounding new practice openings, holidays, and additional promotional opportunities

Who you are

  • BA/BS degree
  • Minimum of 1-2 years marketing experience, preferably in the health and wellness or direct-to-consumer eCommerce space
  • Exceptional communication (written + verbal), organization, and analytical skills
  • Able to prioritize, track and follow through across multiple and competing priorities
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Team player and resourceful problem solver
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, social media scheduling platforms like Hootsuite, and Google Analytics is preferred
  • Willingness to perform other duties and special projects as needed/requested
  • Ability to be onsite at various Small Door Veterinary practices to support with marketing events and various duties as needed
