Experience-Interaction, a creative and digital agency, is looking for a strong Social Media Marketing Manager to own social success for a portfolio of well-known beverage brands. Our team handles strategy, management, and content creation for several brand social channels, as well as creative development for paid social.

In this role, you will perform day-to-day community management responsibilities while acting as a social media specialist to drive success across brand social channels. This is a client-facing role, and although the role is partnered with Account Managers who handle the majority of day-to-day client communication, this role requires communication with clients on a regular basis.

This is a remote role with the optional opportunity to work from our office in DUMBO, Brooklyn.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Lives and breathes social media every day, regularly looking out for new opportunities and moving quickly to pitch them to clients.
  • Has the ability to understand social media performance data, identify key insights and learnings, and apply these to our social media strategy as actionable tactics.
  • Is collaborative, partnering with the creative team to brainstorm content ideas and shape social strategy together. You bring the insights and social trends, they bring the design execution and creative expertise. You both bring creative thinking and innovative ideas to the table.
  • Is curious and ambitious about how organic and paid social works within a brand’s larger digital ecosystem (web, CRM/email, e-commerce, etc.).
  • Is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and a clear communicator.

Core Responsibilities

  • Help to shape and articulate strategic objectives for your brands and collaborate with the creative team to generate social media strategies and content concepts that reflect those objectives.
  • Write copy for planned social media posts, pre-approved community management responses, and on-the-fly social media posts and comments.
  • Own the creation of monthly content calendars for owned and paid channels.
  • Schedule, publish, edit, and share content daily on brand social channels.
  • Monitor multiple social accounts and channels on a daily basis, responding to and engaging with fans of the brand on owned channels.
  • Create monthly, annual, and campaign-specific social reporting, drawing insights from the data to provide the client and our internal teams with actionable recommendations.
  • Present ideas and reasoning clearly and succinctly over video calls and in written communication to clients and agency partners.

Professional Requirements:

  • 1-3 years experience in social media management for an agency or in-house at a brand.
  • Strong grasp of the existing and emerging functionality of major social platforms.
  • Experience working within the back end of major social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter) and with social media management and listening tools (such as Sprout Social).
  • A strong understanding of the influencer marketing space backed by research skills to identify potential brand partners.
  • Baseline understanding of paid social is a plus.
