Content Creator & Social Media Manager

We started Revival with a focus on handmade rugs — our hero product — and we’re gradually expanding our offering to include complementary home goods. Our team utilizes steady product launches and limited edition, one-of-a-kind inventory to drive demand online. Developing high quality products and telling the authentic stories behind them continues to resonate with our fast-growing customer base. We are seeking a sharp, hard working and collaborative Social Media Manager to support our marketing and creative team.
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for:
Content Creation
- Conceptualize, storyboard, and execute creative content to engage and inform audience across multiple platforms, with a focus on Instagram
- Create Instagram content (posts, stories, reels, etc.) in support of product launches, releases, and sales
- Develop and execute ongoing content for Instagram Stories including, including building the designs / graphics in Adobe or a similar creative studio
- Coordinate with Affiliate Manager on any content in support of the Brand Ambassador Program or other potential influencer marketing initiatives
- Coordinate with in-country teams on behind-the-scenes and photoshoot content for social media
- Coordinate with graphic design team on any crossover or shared content between email marketing and social media
- Coordinate with Creative Director to ensure content follows Revival brand voice and aesthetic
Managing Revival’s social media platforms
- Manage the day-to-day of all social media platforms, with a primary focus on Instagram
- Maintain and improve on existing Instagram content strategy
- Build out and execute a content strategy across secondary platforms (Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter)
- Plan visual content and write accompanying copy
- Engage with and continue to build online community
- Manage communication with audience/customers (direct messages, comments, etc.) and coordinate any necessary issues with Customer Service team
- Cultivate and continue to grow social media following across channels
- Create and implement initiatives to increase brand awareness (ie. giveaways)
- Monitor and analyze engagement data
- Stay up-to-date with any relevant trends, particularly in the home decor space
Marketing Support
- Coordinate with Affiliate Manager on any influencer content or initiatives
- Create ad creatives in coordination with Performance Marketing Manager
- General support for miscellaneous marketing requests
Required
- At least 3+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience building, executing and scaling social media marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other digital design tools
- Proven experience building content and bringing ideas to life on mobile
- Premium communication skills, including excellent, personable writing skills
- Ability to understand brand visuals and speak brand language
- Creative and innovative thinker who can see the bigger picture of what’s possible and bring that vision to life
