Vice President, Influencer
Lippe Taylor is currently seeking a Vice President to help lead our Influencer team. Exposure across clients within the agency pending inclusion of influencer programming.
You’ll build and maintain best-in-class and leading-edge knowledge of data inspired and creative influencer programming, integrated into social media, public relations, and digital communications campaigns. Must have expertise in methods and approaches in the development and execution of influencer marketing programs for clients. You’ll act as part of the core team on larger pieces of business and be leadership resource for the team on their day-to-day accounts. You will act as an ambassador across the agency for digital and influencer initiatives, helping to grow accounts and contribute to new business efforts.
You’ll work in close collaboration with teams across the agency, focusing on accounts across a range of verticals, including CPG, beauty & skincare, health & wellness, and food & beverage. This role provides the opportunity to take part in leading and building the influencer team, as well as imprint on influencer strategy and execution across several accounts.
Responsibilities:
· Spearhead influencer programming for multiple clients, inclusive of all steps of a campaign – ideation, identification, outreach, negotiations/contracting, financial management, content approvals, content deployment strategy, amplification, and reporting
· Provide counsel both internally to engagement/digital teams and externally to clients as a day-to-day partner, having a clear point of view on influencer best practices and how to efficiently pair with a paid media strategy
· Take leadership role in management of the influencer team including project/account scope, team allocations, updates in team process and direction, and strategic counsel to team members
· Approach influencer programming through a paid lens, identifying opportunities to increase program performance through paid media amplification or leverage partners to create deliverables built with paid media best practices in mind while working closely with our paid lead
· Communicate and collaborate with internal agency partners/departments and external agency partners to ensure everyone is aligned on deliverables and expectations
· Lead influencer strategy for new business pitches
· Address client issues thoughtfully and efficiently manage deliverables timelines
· Demonstrate practical and advanced understanding of social media and the digital landscape and how to incorporate into client programs
· Remain in the forefront of influencer strategy and platforms, staying on top of the latest offerings, etc.
· Work with platform vendors and talent agents to stay up to date on the latest offerings and clients, as well as negotiate costs in partnership
· Preferred expertise in multicultural and developing diverse influencer groups
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience working in Influencer Marketing.
- Someone who is both a self-starter and a team player who wants to join a thriving entrepreneurial agency.
- Understands and can articulate influencer strategies from both an organic and paid perspective – can explain the differences between brand partnership tools, allow list, accept list, etc.), boosting, and dark posting and when to leverage each.
- Expertise managing/casting influencer programs across a wide range of influencers – from celebrities to micro-influencers.
- Familiar with influencer relationship management tools and ROI dashboards.
- Knowledge of usage rights, exclusivity, and basic contract terms, knowing how to prioritize them in contracting and negotiations.
- Execution of integrated influencer marketing campaigns.
- Strong relationships with influencer talent managers and agencies.
- Client & team management skills.
- Strong writing skills and deck design abilities.
