An integral part of the Pureology and Mizani Sr. Manager of Social Media and Influencer Relations, works hand-in-hand with the brand team, freelancer, agency and vendors, as well as the Pureology.com Commerce help deliver actionable social content that drives upper funnel awareness and community growth.
They will oversee the execution of social media strategy and management across existing social channels and help to lead test and learns on emerging platforms—and ensure that strategies meet current best practice standards for each channel.
They will establish and execute professional and consumer influencer relationships and partnerships to benefit overall Hair.com awareness and sales KPIS.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for all brand-related social media content for content and commerce and the overall social media strategy; create and manage all content working
- Measure social media growth and engagement using analytics tools (i.e. Social Bakers, Netbase, Traackr)
- Explore partnership opportunies
- Lead the development & execution of best-in-class organic social strategy across all platforms, content curation, community management and influencer marketing to support overarching brand strategies
- Drive content strategy for influencer marketing, pairing the business needs with authentic influencer content creation
- Partner closely on overall content recommendations for vehicles outside of social
- Work closely with creative to support overall brand creative direction and lead social-first, engaging asset creation that reinforce the brand DNA
- Develop social calendars that drive impact for both core and new product launches that deliver big, engaging ideas, brand aesthetic, reach and buzz both on our platforms and beyond
- Oversee and lead data tracking, insights, analytics platforms and competitive landscapes to continuously refine and improve strategies
- Serve as a thought leader in Social Media and share best practices, general guidance and the implications of platform updates with broader teams
- Establish the foundations of a best-in-class influencer marketing program, inclusive of:
- Establish goals for maximizing our brand reach & growing share of voice across platforms, balancing this against the quality of content and impact on the customer
- Conduct surveys & research, in partnership with Consumer Insights, to understand current gaps & opportunities for improvement
- Audit existing influencer marketing initiatives and update to bring it in line with future-state objectives
- Establish an equitable program structure that is line with our values, inclusive of incentive structure, identification & eligibility parameters, and relationship management & communication norms
- Create processes for collaboration with Marketing, Creative & Sales partners that enable agile, effective execution of the program
- Establish a measurement & reporting structure to evaluate influencer impact on at least a monthly basis, across both brand metrics (i.e. organic reach) and sales (i.e. attributed orders, product uplift)
- Create an unparalleled experience for influencers that supports their sustained excitement & engagement
- Grow the influencer marketing program into a key brand & business driver, with measurable impact across reach & impressions, traffic & sales across priority markets (including globally)
- Ensure we have sustained growth in the program, taking an extremely proactive approach with identifying new individuals to onboard into the program that can drive incremental reach & impressions, create content that fuels other channels, and have a measurable business impact
- Partner closely with Key stakeholders find creative ways to leverage influencer partners as part of our campaigns & brand moment
Desired Skills - Bachelor’s Degree Required
- 5+ years of experience developing, managing, and growing a brand’s social media platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Tribe Dynamics, Traackr, Social Bakers, NetBase, Sprinklr, IronClad, Rival IQ.
- Basic understanding of SEO and Google Analytic, a plus.
- Experience in creating and executing large- and small-scale influencer partnerships and giveaways.
- Comfortable creating high-quality video and images for social use.
- Solid understanding of social media analytics
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Enthusiastic attitude and flexibility to adapt and pivot based on data and brand needs.
- Passion for social media, influencer, and PR.
- Strong ability to translate brand strategies into daily social media content
- Creative, innovative thinker
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced, growing organization with evolving priorities
- Ability to manage expectations and drive the process to achieve results
- Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
