This is an opportunity to join a unique team of integrated marketers as the day-to-day influencer marketing lead on a dynamic mix of top beauty, grooming and consumer lifestyle brands. As at Edelman, this client has a passion for innovation across all marketing touchpoints, developing and executing social-by-design, earned-at-the-core programming across communications, influencer, social digital and experiential.

As the influencer marketing lead on this account, you will drive influencer strategy and guide clients and your team on how to maximize the power of talent, while partnering with creative, production and analytics on integrated campaigns for iconic brand. This role will require you to think differently and work collaboratively with both internal and external partners across our core disciplines of earned, social, influencer, experiential, paid, analytics, production and strategy.

You

  • Are passionate and knowledgeable about influencer partnerships across all tiers of talent, branded video content, social platforms and digital media
  • Have a proven track record of prospecting, negotiating and closing deals to support and fulfill the strategic objectives of the client
  • Build relationships and provide daily strategic counsel with clients across multiple brands
  • Can create and manage the implementation of fully integrated, cross-channel influencer campaigns that are built to earn consumer attention and drive consumer action through the funnel helping to improve bottom line impact for our clients.
  • Have proven leadership skills with the ability to grow a team by way of motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback, and most importantly, leading by example and working with all teams to ensure campaign success
  • Love both pop-culture and its infusion into the consumer brand ecosystem
  • Relentlessly seek, share and adopts ideas and best practices in and outside the agency

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of experience working in content development and creation.
  • At least 4 years of previous experience working directly with influencers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of social media, influencers, content creators and the larger Influencer Marketing ecosystem. Influencer and talent agency contacts at both senior and junior levels required
  • Knowledge and experience working across all tiers of influencers (micro, mid, top tier and traditional experts) and nuances of working with each
  • Proven ability to work with clients and manage teams to create strategic and creative influencer campaigns that deliver on KPI’s and drive ROI
  • Knowledge of best practices, tech platforms, tools and processes for influencer marketing
  • Understanding of integrating influencer work across teams (ideally with paid, earned, owned, creative etc.)
  • Experience managing teams, clients and campaigns, establishing goals and ensuring project deadlines are met
  • Exceptional collaborator who can work across practices
