About The Job
Zeno Silicon Valley is looking for a seasoned storyteller to join our growing digital team. The ideal candidate should have a mix of social media, analytics, content marketing experience and a passion to learn. This storyteller will be responsible for executing the day-to-day of client programs with a focus on brand storytelling on social media channels.
The VP, Digital will lead digital work for some of the world’s most renowned brands and should be an expert at developing strategies that leverage market, category and audience insights to uncover and point to a unique path forward for Zeno clients. Candidates should have a knowledge base of the digital media landscape and an understanding of all possible media and marketing channels (social, programmatic, search, influencer, TV, video and email) with an emphasis on social. A deep experience with developing thought leadership campaigns including executive visibility on social media and influencer engagement is critical — including both paid and earned models.
The VP, Digital will execute content programs on various channels like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube while playing a significant role in supporting influencer marketing campaigns, both paid and organic. Zeno wants a candidate who is data-driven minded and likes getting in the weeds ondata, primarily Brandwatch, to uncover trending topics for content marketing purposes.
Zeno needs a candidate who is detail-oriented and good at helping a team stay on track with deliverables. This VP, Digital will love to learn, read, consume content and trends.
The VP, Digital will be expected to cultivate senior digital and marketing client relationships and drive execution from start to finish with their internal team. This leader should have a hands-on approach to mentoring junior teammates and driving the team collectively towards success. One must enjoy managing a team daily.

About You
- At least 10+ years of experience in digital marketing
- Deep experience with corporate content strategy development, whether for a brand’s corporate social channels or an executive’s channels
- Deep experience with paid social media, including behavioral targeting and lead generation campaigns
- Experience with engaging B2B influencers or thought-leaders in a paid and/or earned capacity
- Strong problem-solving and natural leadership, with previous experience managing others
- Highly experienced with client counsel and tough client Q&A conversations
- Experience in numerous client presentations, with strong speaking skills
- Strong project management skills with experience growing and leading a team
- Strong understanding of performance metrics, optimization and ability to spot trends
- Strong understanding of data and how it can be used to create content
- Experience with promoting social media content on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube
- Stellar copywriting skills, including experience writing social ad copy for brands
- Excellent time management skills and highly organized, with experience working simultaneously on multiple clients and projects
- Extremely comfortable with Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint
Pluses
- Experience with SEM/SEO and programmatic display
- Demonstrable experience in bid management and tracking solutions (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, etc.)
- Proficiency in SEO and content marketing platforms like BrightEdge, Moz Pro, SEMRush, Brandwatch, Audiense and Traackr
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio and various ad platforms
- Proficiency in Photoshop, After Effects, Canva, animation and motion graphics
- Certification in Facebook Blueprint, Twitter Flight School and Google Analytics
- Social media management tools like Sprout, Sprinklr, HubSpot, Hootsuite, Salesforce and Khoros
- Experience with Streamyard
