Vice President of Brand Partnerships will be responsible for expanding the company’s portfolio of advertising clientele. InfluenceLogic is a recognized performance marketing leader, helping businesses acquire new customers across digital channels on a pay-for-performance model. Candidates will be responsible for identifying prospective brands, negotiating and closing deals, and positioning new accounts for successful transitions to our client success team. Successful transitions to the client success team can take months, so the ideal candidate must be both an excellent salesperson and project manager. In our organization, the deal isn’t closed until we are successfully hitting the client’s agreed-upon KPIs at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching and identifying prospective clients
  • Analyzing market opportunities and qualifying prospective clients to determine alignment opportunities
  • Negotiating client agreements and campaign details
  • Positioning client success team to successfully manage new campaigns
  • Reporting performance to the Executive Leadership team.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales and partnership building (affiliate/partner marketing experience a plus).
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and closing advertising agency deals with consumer brands.
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
  • Familiarity with growth marketing, affiliate marketing and/or influencer marketing is strongly preferred.
  • Can articulate -- with advertising specific metrics and analytics -- successful campaigns they have worked on in the past.
  • Experience with CRM and pipeline management and basic attribution technology such as Impact and Tune
  • A real people-person. You live for building relationships and thrive in interpersonal settings. You are genuinely happy in collaboration mode.
  • An innate sense of accountability and effortless ability to take ownership of initiatives. Someone that will drive outcomes and meet expectations. You are not afraid to follow-up and give/take feedback.
  • A critical thinker with a natural ability for thinking strategically, asking “why” and making business decisions. A true problem-solver.
  • An organized individual that is able to help people of diverse skills and personalities stay organized and on track.
  • A team player that is an asset to the agency, willing to work on internal initiatives, share knowledge and thought leadership in service of education and promote agency expertise.
  • Advanced awareness of the psychology of advertising and the customer journey.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and digital marketing training.
