About the role:

As the Director of Agency Partnerships, you will be creating, leading, and growing a high-performing agency team in our Cameo for Business vertical. You, and the small, but mighty team you build, will create long-term partnerships with the largest media and creative agencies to help grow Cameo’s position as a leading talent and creative partner within every agency and their brands. You and your team will create and facilitate connectivity between Cameo and the agencies we partner with. Through the agency partnerships you create, you will educate every brand partner about the value of leveraging Cameo for their campaigns. You will prove out value through tests, research, brand studies, and highly-successful campaigns that you help facilitate with the C4B account executives and relationship managers. You will own a large overlay quota - generating and influencing hundreds of campaigns for the C4B team. Your data-driven and creative mindset will uncover opportunities that enable us to hyper-scale within the brand/agency space. You will champion the creation of new products and platforms within C4B.

Your experience working with agencies and brands will ensure that you’re able to deliver the most engaging content and campaigns from the 40K+ celebrities on Cameo.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Educate and build awareness of Cameo for Business among every major media and creative agency.
  • Be part of the Cameo for Business leadership team - helping pave the way for the future of talent and influencer marketing.
  • Be responsible for influencing >50% of C4B revenue through the partnerships you strike and the deals you help facilitate. You and your team will be the top lead source for our sales and RM team.
  • Create partnerships that add significant value to agencies, their clients, and Cameo.
  • Solidify large upfronts for 2023.
  • Collaborate closely with account executives and relationship managers to help bring hundreds of qualified opportunities, as well as help see deals/campaigns through.
  • Become a thought leader in the agency space - through speaking engagements, executive briefings, and published research.
  • Use your existing network to generate leads and referrals.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives with other departments, demonstrating your insight and experience to improve various channels within the business.
  • Work closely with our product, marketing, and data teams to create new products and experiences that will benefit agency and brand partners.
  • Helping write the playbook and set a new standard of excellence for Cameo’s next $100M+ business line.

What you bring to the table:

  • 15+ years of agency and/or platform sales experience.
  • 6+ years leading cross-functional teams at agencies or owning large agency relationships at a platform.
  • Experience having built teams and functions at high-performing tech or media companies.
  • Success through being a highly analytical and data-driven leader; highly proficient at forecasting, creating go-to-market strategies, and leading teams in a hyper-growth environment.
  • You have successfully owned 8 and 9 digit quotas or P&Ls.
  • Previous success in creating external research and thought leadership to champion your initiatives.
  • A deep understanding of how to work with legal and procurement teams to get deals done.
  • Extensive experience identifying prospects and working them all the way to closed opportunities.
  • Exemplify all of our core values, most importantly, “Run Through Walls” and “Roll Out the Red Carpet”.
  • Bring humility and compassion to work daily.
  • Receptive to feedback, mentoring, strategic realignment when needed, and lead with no ego.
