About the Role:

The Marketing Partnerships Associate Director is responsible for driving forward the strategy, framework and performance for affiliate, influencer and marketing partnership channels whilst acting as a key business stakeholder for projects and efficiencies within their remit. This role will report to the Head of Performance Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a best in class US affiliate, influencer and marketing partnership strategy across Dermstore, SkinStore, Lookfantastic and Glossybox.
  • Ownership of the affiliate, influencer and marketing partnership performance sales, cost and ROI budgets and KPIs for Dermstore, SkinStore, Lookfantastic and Glossybox
  • Contribute to driving increased marketing efficiency through identifying cost re-investments on existing customers and non-incremental activity
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with our key business partners, both internally and externally to ensure best in class principles and training is provided.
  • Drive forward best in market platform on-boarding for localized marketing partners, ensuring global strategy is localized to maximize results.
  • Establish clear new customer acquisition driving initiatives to exceed growth targets
  • Identify non-traditional affiliate partnerships and develop our program accordingly i.e. Bank Linked Programs and B2B Brand Relationships.
  • Establish the role of content partners within the marketing mix, supporting PR and earned media initiatives.
  • Work with the other affiliate and influencer teams in THG to identify and contribute to areas of best practice and innovation.
  • Manage the affiliate network meetings to ensure clear process and accountability, including weekly, monthly and quarterly.
  • Develop local influencer selection process in line with global guidelines to drive forward influencer best practice.
  • Build out the influencer campaign planner and relevant activations in line with the overall site trading and marketing calendar as well as brand JBPs.
  • Collaborate with partnership teams to contribute towards strategy meetings and build-out the performance marketing component of JBPs
  • Stay up to date with the affiliate, influencer and partnership marketing industry and news, share knowledge with the local and global teams
  • Look for opportunities to drive forward platform enhancements to position ourselves ahead of the market
  • Lead the affiliate and influencer teams and ensure all employees buy into the company vision and embody the beauty manifesto. Provide direction to the work and resources of our business and ensure we recruit and retain the best staff, ensuring they are trained and well-motivated to achieve our mission and objectives.

  • Previous experience in affiliate, influencer and partnership marketing programs with a focus on driving data-driven results.
  • Previous experience in consumer products retail ecommerce business with a proven track record of increasing sales through customer engagement and segmentation strategies.
  • Top-notch analytical skills with a proven ability to drive new customer acquisition via data, testing and learning.
  • Highly organized self-starter, with a data-driven mentality and bias towards action.
  • Ability to coach and mentor junior members in the team, ensuring their professional development
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
