Influencer and Brand Relations Manager
The Brand Partnerships and Community Manager will be responsible for growing and managing the influencer program, the ambassador program and cross promotional brand partnerships. The ideal candidate will have Influencer Marketing & Social Media experience, contract negotiation skills, strong communication skills (both written and verbal), be organized, detail oriented and can effectively manage multiple projects at a time. This individual has strong relationships with macro and micro influencers, as well as brands and celebrities. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow within the fashion industry and is not afraid to wear multiple hats!
Responsibilities
- Actively source, evaluate, pitch, and negotiate strong partnerships with social influencers with an emphasis on micro to mid-tier creators at scale.
- Manage and foster long term relationships with our existing influencer partner community and influencer community.
- Track deliverables and content for each partnership
- Manage communication and gifting for the Ambassador program each month on GRIN platform.
- Respond to all potential influencer inquiries and Identify potential new Influencer partners to help expand the program
- Keeping track of our monthly gifting goal and following up with all ambassadors or micro-influencers to ensure postings once gifting is received.
- Maintain and track budgeting monthly and quarterly
- Establish whitelisting contracts and work cross functionally with the digital marketing team.
- Track influencer posts to ensure efficiency of the running campaigns.
- Create regular reports/decks for the larger team to see what the Influencer Marketing team is doing each month and how we can improve.
- Maintain awareness of the brands’ initiatives and develop influencer strategies to support those initiatives.
- Assist with planning and promoting for events and pop-up activations
- Represent the brand at activations creating strong relationships with influencers and customers
- Create project documents, event recaps, run-of-show docs and event budgets
- Maintain and organize influencer platform
- Research industry and social media trends and Identify top performing organic tagged content.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 dedicated to influencer performance marketing
- At least 2 year of experience in managing influencer marketing campaigns within the paid media industry of Branded Content across Facebook and Instagram
- Dedicated experience in direct influencer communication across all social platforms at the mid-macro tier negotiating level
- DTC ecommerce brand experience
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in communications, marketing, or public relations preferred.
- Experience with influencer communication as well as with managers and agencies.
- Deep understanding of social media
- Experience with GRIN and Shopify is a plus
- An understanding of paid social media advertising.
- Fashion industry experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to troubleshoot and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
- Fast learning and extremely solution oriented.
- Experience using various social media platforms.
- Ability to assist the CEO with daily tasks as needed
