O Positiv is a Los Angeles-based women’s wellness company built on the idea that small acts of self-care produce positive outcomes. Our first product was FLO Vitamins, the world’s first PMS gummy vitamin, designed to make periods and the symptoms that come with them more tolerable. Since then, we have continued to launch innovative and effective products to support women in various stages of their lives. Job Summary

We are looking for a part-time (16 hours/week) Social Media Assistant to join our growing Marketing Team. As the Social Media Assistant, you will work closely with the Social Media Manager to identify social trends and create engaging content that helps grow our social presence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health, wellness, and social media — with the ability to effortlessly blend these passions into creative social content. The social media landscape is changing fast, so we’re looking for a creative, out-of-the-box thinker who has a strong pulse on trends. This person will play a key role in the growth of our social media, content, and community-building strategies.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist in the research of trending wellness, beauty, and social content and proactively share trending social opportunities to grow our social presence
  • Identify unique ways to engage with social audience to build brand affinity and increase audience acquisition specifically on Instagram and TikTok
  • ​​Bring your ideas to anyone who will listen, and make things happen when you see an opportunity!
  • Develop and ideate social media content, with a particular focus on videos and reels
  • Assist with finding images and graphics, writing copy, and scheduling social post
  • Conceptualize and execute Instagram stories that are both engaging and send traffic to our website
  • Monitor O Positiv social channels and act as eyes and ears on social to respond to fans, business queries, and ability to elevate concerns internally as needed
  • Work creatively to expand existing partnerships and identify opportunities
  • Support influencer marketing strategy inclusive of outreach, ideation, and communication.
  • Identify/anticipate influencer trends for the brand to capitalize on.
  • Remain highly adaptable, flexible, and organized to pivot content publishing plans.
  • Fulfilling product requests, including packaging and sending out products to influencers

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • One or more years of experience in influencer marketing, social media, PR or digital strategy
  • A passion for wellness, fun, and working hard!
  • You LOVE internet culture. You live on social media
  • Strong pulse on trends and news within the social media industry
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinking
  • Fluent in all social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, etc.)
  • Impeccable grammar with strong attention to detail
  • Must be proactive and solutions oriented
  • Outstanding relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities at once
  • Great photography skills a plus
  • Existing relationships with influencers in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle space a plus
