Curology’s success is largely attributed to its first-of-its-kind approach to influencer marketing. We scaled our efforts and built a passionate community of micro to mega influencers, and are now looking for a Director of Influencer Marketing who can build on our ground-breaking success and take our influencer program to the next level. We need a wildly creative, analytical, and empathetic leader with a proven track record in influencer marketing, strategy, storytelling, and leading teams. Your influencer marketing efforts will be critical to everything we do, from our evergreen performance marketing to full 360-brand campaigns, all while helping build Curology into one of the most loved and successful brands in skincare.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all of Curology’s influencer marketing program, developing a clear strategy to achieve business goals both short and long term, and cementing Curology’s position as an influencer marketing leader
  • Inspire the team, providing creative inspiration & vision, insights and context to help shape bigger ideas and rethink how we partner with influencers to drive the business
  • Spearhead trailblazing initiatives beyond sponsored content [ex. events, co-branded swag] to enhance our influencer marketing program, ensuring great ideas are flawlessly executed
  • Collaborate across departments to leverage influencers to support marketing efforts; partner closely with the Growth Marketing team to determine how to best use influencer marketing to support subscriber growth at a low cost
  • Manage a 10+ person team; provide structure, guidance, and mentorship to direct-reports to contribute to Curology’s people-first culture
  • Report program performance with actionable insights, overseeing data tracking, insights, analytics platforms and competitive landscapes to continuously refine and improve strategies
  • Maintain pulse on culture, emerging influencers and content creators to keep Curology ahead of the curve
  • Oversee budget ensuring resources are aligned to company priorities
  • Manage and negotiate celebrity & ambassador contract negotiations and execution
  • Assess and optimize our current influencer processes, swiftly implementing needed changes

Rquirements

  • At least 8+ years experience managing an influencer marketing program at an agency or brand; experience in Beauty and/or DTC a plus
  • A strong and proven track record in building influencer strategies & programs [collaborations, events, longer-term partnerships, etc.] that ladder into overall business strategy, and ideating & delivering influencer marketing programs that drive impactful results
  • Passionate about influencers and in tune with the latest influencer trends, able to propose innovative collaborations that put Curology at the forefront of these trends
  • This role is “part art and part science” – requiring strong analytical prowess, combined with passion for social media, influencers and disruptive content
  • Able to leverage data to assess the impact of your programs and pull out actionable insights
  • Exceptional leadership skills with proven experience managing, inspiring and leading a team
  • Must be collaborative, agile, accountable, kind, and welcome change
  • Experience collaborating with a Performance Marketing team and comfortable with paid acquisition KPIs
