Talent and Brand Marketing Manager
We’re looking for a creative, connected Talent and Brand Marketing Manager for a fast-growing influencer marketing and talent agency, connecting the socially influential to like-minded brands.
With a passionate roster of top influencers and creators in the health, wellness, and lifestyle space, they work with major and emerging brands to reach shared audiences, remain authentic to respective brand ethos, and exceed businesses goals.
About the role:
The Talent and Brand Marketing Manager will meaningfully expand our talent portfolio of influencers and creators and further cement the company as a dominant agency in the health, wellness, and lifestyle space.
You’ll take ownership of recruiting and onboarding new talent, identifying monetization and partnership opportunities with brands, and working internally to create elevated content, track campaign performance, and enhance the overall talent and brand experience.
The ideal candidate has a few years under their belt connecting with, nurturing, and growing relationships with influencers and creators and has a genuine passion for the health, wellness, and lifestyle spaces and their respective communities. You’ll be on the constant lookout for opportunities to engage new talent and their audiences for the benefit of both.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Talent & Marketing
- Help to expand our portfolio of influencers and creators whose brands, business goals, and personal/professional ethos align with the company's commitment to health, wellness, and lifestyle (and respective subcategories)
- Manage all stages of the inbound and outbound talent sourcing and acquisition funnel, including:
- Opportunity analysis and outreach (email pitches, etc.)
- Communication management (email, phone & video calls - scheduling and participating, etc.)
- Cursory analysis and metrics reports
- Follow-Ups
- Onboarding and off-boarding, working within Asana to assign responsibilities across the team and ensure a seamless experience
- Research and identify new potential partnerships on both the talent and brand side (and then set the wheels in motion to secure them)
- Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with talent and agencies across the US who might want to work with us
- Maintain the internal talent database, keeping info organized, up-to-date, and ensuring relevant parties have access and updates as needed
- Manage discovery and automation platforms for sourcing and influencer programs (Dovetale, Grin etc.)
- Work with the internal Social Media team to ensure campaign content, engagement, and performance goals are on point
- Oversee gifting programs and come up with clever ways to leverage exposure for the benefit of both the talent and brand partners
- Help to create and consistently evolve relevant decks and marketing materials, including company brand guidelines, creator decks, agency & talent acquisition decks
- Contribute to weekly newsletters, agency emails, and industry insights content
Strategy and Analysis
- Taking business and talent goals into account, establish and track KPIs across all marketing channels (email, social, ecomm, etc.)
- Create and manage a reporting system for the aforementioned metrics, update the internal analysis sheet monthly, and provide regular, detailed reports for leadership, internal teams, and talent partners
- Collaborate with internal managers to do quantitative analysis based on performance to develop strategy, brainstorm ideas, evaluate internal processes, and continuously optimize operations, content, and the talent experience
- Assess talent at 30 and 60 days and discuss with the account manager, and deliver findings and recommendations to internal leadership
Content and Communication
- Ensure consistent day-to-day communications between the team and talent and/or their teams
- Immerse yourself in all things health, wellness, and lifestyle and become a knowledge expert on our talent categories, brands, and respective audiences to gain a genuine understanding of what will work and what won’t with regard to content and partnerships
- Help to advise as needed on content opportunities and ensure brand alignment and authentic representation across campaigns
- Keep talent in the know and excited. Be ready to answer their questions, collaborate on content ideas and creative direction, and provide informed suggestions on content that will resonate while maintaining their confidence and sense of confidence for what’s in the pipeline
WHAT YOU HAVE
- 2-4+ years of influencer marketing/talent management experience, preferably at an agency
- Deep understanding of the influencer content, social media, and brand marketing ecosystem
- A phone full of contacts of influencers, talent agencies, and friends/professional contacts to reach out to and introduce to the company
- Proven success doing ^
- Must be a people person with impeccable professional interpersonal skills, in writing and in-person
- Experience building strategic B2B partnerships with measurable outcomes in the form of revenue and account growth - this could include influencer/talent partnerships or others
- Super tech-savvy and comfortable working across platforms daily (Asana, Dovetail, Grin, G Suite, etc.)
- Fluent in social media - existing, emerging - you have content creator platforms dialed and you know how each monetizes. IG, TikTok, and whatever’s next are your playgrounds
- Effective pitching skills - you can impactfully communicate opportunities to potential talent partners and explain supporting materials
- Proficient in social media analytics tools
- Lead by example style. No job is too big or too small for you to champion forward
- You work really well remotely and you show up on time (or early) for your team
- Startup mentality: ability to work autonomously, with agility, and see projects through to completion
- Analytical thinker driven by numbers. “What’s working or not, where are there patterns/trends, why, and what is this telling us?”
- Respond to calls, texts, and emails in a timely manner and with a sense of urgency
