Job Description
Overview/Purpose:
The Tag Experience is seeking an enthusiastic Social Media Manager to manage day to day social posting and optimization for various clients. This role is primarily responsible for creation of content and daily posting and scheduling on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, as well as assisting on other creative endeavors for the Tag Experience and clients.. This role works collaboratively across teams to roll out news, accolades, creative strategy, messaging, partnerships, and growth.
Along with a passion for storytelling and attention to detail, the candidate must have in-depth social media experience and a proven history of growing social audiences. The role is intended for someone who has strong writing skills, social media design abilities, knowledge of analytical tools, and is enthusiastic about joining an awesome team. This person has an instinct for what’s on (and off) brand, has an eye for powerful visuals, understands how data can inform smart strategy, and is an expert at juggling multiple projects, managing deadlines, distilling social numbers into actionable insights, and striving for greatness.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day posting, editing and optimization of content on multiple social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Master The Tag Experience + clients’ voice
- Work closely with clients and Account Directors to roll out strong content
- Create engaging graphics using Canva and other Apps
- Build creative assets for various social platforms
- Coordinate with clients for direct guidance
- Report on content performance and present social insights and best practices
- Make daily recommendations to and work closely with the management teams
- Adjust social strategy according to KPI pacing
- Brainstorm new ideas and plan rollout strategies
Requirements:
- A minimum requirement of 2 years of social media experience
- Passionate about social media and growing audiences
- Positive team player and an enthusiastic work ethic
- Familiarity with tech, finance and lifestyle jargon for social media.
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and experience optimizing content
- Creative/design abilities for social media
- Excellent organizational skills, focus, and attention to detail
- An established ability to synthesize and communicate information quickly
- Must complete an edit test (writing samples are a plus!)
