Client Development Director, Influencer Marketing

As a Client Development Director, Influencer Marketing you will build relationships and close business for the Inmar Intelligence Influencer Platform. The ideal candidate will be part “hunter”/part “strategist” and all-around

team player. Clients consist of brand and shopper budget holders at brands, retailers and agencies across all verticals, with emphasis on CPG. Direct contacts are usually at senior manager/director level positions, but also

include VP/CMO. This individual should have an entrepreneurial spirit, be a good listener and be passionate about social media, digital media, and consumer touchpoints.

Primary Accountabilities

Strategic (35%)

  • Become an expert on social media, social influencer, Inmar Intelligence Influencer history, positioning, product offering, pricing and differences from competitors
  • Understand client business objectives and propose and close strategic solutions leveraging Inmar products, rate card, and budget template and timeline standards

Operational (35%)

  • Develop, manage, and track a territory/account plan to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Utilize salesforce.com for prospect tracking, opportunity identification and internal communication
  • Work with client service team to oversee accounts from proposal through post-analysis to resell

Influence (30%)

  • Effectively prospect potential clients through personal CPG, brand, retail, agency and supplier network and other lead sources (including cold calling)

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field.
  • 6-8 years’ experience selling strategic digital marketing solutions to CPG, Consumer Brands, Agency and/or retail clients
  • Proven ability to identify and close 100K+ deals, $2.5MM+ annually
  • Ability to work independently in a startup environment while building collaborative relationships to identify, share and implement best practices
  • Passion for social media and the digital media landscape.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and other online and media platforms, and how they can be deployed in different scenarios throughout the consumer journey
  • Experience in nurturing support staff for greater efficiency and talent development
  • Strong pipeline management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Powerpoint, Excel, Gmail (including google drive and calendar)
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software a plus
