Associate Manager, Influencer Marketing (R0986062)
We are looking for a curious, creative thinker who is highly organized and a natural relationship-builder. The role requires a blend of deep knowledge of the influencer marketing space, strategic thinking, creative prowess, and a desire to learn more about the broader landscape of social marketing.
Ideal candidates are passionate about the ever-changing world of influencer marketing, conversations in culture and all things social media, from Instagram to TikTok. Candidates should have a keen interest in emerging trends, influencers and creators across these platforms and recognize the impact of influencer marketing in an overall marketing strategy.
Key responsibilities will include:
Relationship Building & Outreach
- A significant part of this role is recommending influencer partners for our clients. You know how to build relationships with established and up-and-coming content creators as well as talent managers.
- You obsessively vet partners to make sure they’re the ideal fit for the brand based on strategic goals, and influencers love working with you.
- You have some experience drafting contracts (along with the internal legal team support), negotiating fees and managing the influencer relationship from contracting through campaign wrap-up.
Creative Concepting & Campaign Execution
- A portion of this job will be helping to create recommendations on not just who to work with but how to work with them. You’ll work with strategy and creative teams to come up with brilliant ideas that make for amazing content and talk-worthy campaigns. Excellent writing skills are a must.
- You have a knowledge and understanding of existing and emerging social media platforms – from Instagram to TikTok – and the nuances that go into making compelling and engaging influencer content across channels.
- You’ll be responsible for developing campaign materials including creative briefs, key messages and content guidelines.
- You have a knack for analytics and love to glean actionable insights from campaigns. You’ll be responsible for working in tandem with a team to measure the success of influencer initiatives, delivering reports and recommendations for future programs.
- You should have confidence in owning campaign execution with senior oversight. The role will be client-facing with the opportunity to relationship-build among the integrated best-in-class agency team for a nationally recognized brand.
Strategic Thinking
- You will have the opportunity to brainstorm for inventive content ideas and topics that drive engagement both through influencers and social campaigns.
- You will work alongside the team to ensure that influencer content created seamlessly aligns with the brand’s social feed for usage and brief partners on that content creation accordingly.
- You will assist with identifying and sending reactive and trending moments for client approval when aligned with the brand voice.
- On occasion you will be asked to help contribute to ad-hoc reports and POVs as needed by the client.
Project Management
- This job requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects all the way through.
- Organization is important, as you’ll be expected to complete basic administrative tasks including maintaining status documents, invoicing and processing payments.
- You should have experience in project management, tracking towards and measuring success, and optimization of influencer campaigns.
Collaboration
- You’re open to working with different departments. As part of this role, you’ll work with strategy, creative, social marketing, media and other disciplines.
- You’re a natural contributor in meetings and are open to presenting internally, as well as capable of bringing influencer-led ideas to brainstorms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2-3 years professional experience in influencer marketing, social media, digital strategy or related field.
- Experience with influencer software tools (i.e. CreatorIQ, Captiv8, Tagger) is preferred.
- A self-starter and team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple tasks.
- You are plugged into pop culture and have a finger on the pulse of the ever-changing world of influencer marketing.
