The Role

As the Influencer Relations Manager, you’ll be our go-to for all things influencer – from strategic planning to day-to-day execution of all VIP/celebrity and influencer/creator campaigns, programs, and partnerships. You’re a digitally native individual who’s obsessed with following brands, influencers and other noteworthy talent in social, especially on the newest platforms. You’ll help strategize and plan activations that will drive the most buzz, engagement and conversion. Much of this role will also be about authentic relationship-building—you’ll be reaching out to influencers/creators (and their management teams) personally and often!

What You’ll Do

Management and strategy (35%)

  • Support with strategy, development, and execution of Influencer activations for the brand
  • Lead all celebrity, influencer, and creator activations and partnerships; closely liaise with management/agency/personal teams to deliver product and other assets to our partners.
  • Spearhead talent agreements. Liaise with Legal to ensure all material terms are properly represented.
  • Conduct outreach and craft strategic pitches to influencers for organic product seedings, creative mailers, events, and paid programs. Draft creative briefs for targeted campaigns and collaborate with Social Media Manager and Content Producer on delivering strategic paid content.
  • Execute influencer partnerships for campaigns from start to finish: target lists, strategy ideation, placing orders and tracking deliveries, negotiations with influencers and/or their representatives, budget management, contract execution, KPI measurements and program wrap reports.
  • Partner with cross-functional marketing teams to conceptualize activations, events, paid campaigns, and new partnerships to generate tons of digital influencer/consumer advocate love and brand buzz in social.
  • Project-manage programs to ensure all plans are completed within budget and on time.

Research and relationships (35%)

  • Establish and foster relationships with key influencers to increase brand advocacy and identify creators that are a fit with our brand’s aesthetic, campaign goals and KPIs
  • Constantly comb through our own social accounts to find influencers/creators who love us (plus, new ones we need to connect with), then foster direct ongoing relationships.
  • Be the expert on influencer activity across the social-sphere (e.g., TIkTok, Instagram, YouTube) to report on trends, content and collaborations on a monthly and campaign basis.
  • Make timely, impactful recommendations for activations and partnerships that will help grow the brand, based on your research and relationship-building.
  • Grow the brand community in a meaningful way.
  • Proactively monitor industry trends and conversations to get ahead of the next “big idea”.

Measurement and effectiveness (30%)

  • Own the KPI’s associated with all influencer/creator-related initiatives; performance will be measured based on their effectiveness including EMV, Traffic & Revenue etc.
  • Be obsessed with metrics, reviewing the numbers on our analytic platforms to adapt and optimize programs for the greatest impact.
  • Report and deduce meaningful analysis out of data that can constantly change to help evolve best practices.
  • Stay on the cutting-edge of digital trends, including monitoring competitors, as well as innovative non-beauty verticals.

Education & Skills

  • 3-4 years of experience in influencer marketing, growing organic outreach programs and running paid campaigns from start to finish
  • Existing network of personal relationships with influencers and their managers through paid and non-paid partnerships, is a plus
  • Working knowledge of influencer landscape across all social media platforms with specific focus on Instagram and TikTok
  • Effective communication, project management, and time management skills, with the ability to efficiently prioritize tasks
  • Experience working with Tribe Dynamics or other influencer marketing platforms
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
