Social Media + PR Manager
Overview
The Social Media + PR Manager is a dynamic role that combines social media management, PR, and event support. The primary value this role brings is to scale Stumptown’s reach and growth by ideating, coordinating, and executing strategic community engagements across channels, including earned and owned media, influencer marketing, creative campaign activations, and local and national events. Stumptown has a dedicated and passionate fan base, and this role is integral in continuing to nurture and develop our valued relationships with our customers.
Apply if...
- You’re an experienced social media manager that knows how to design and deliver content that’s data-informed, channel-specific, on brand, and creatively compelling. You bring hands-on expertise across media channels (having run social accounts for a medium to large brand). You understand the unique nuances of content strategy for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok, and you have a strong POV on how Reddit, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn fit into the mix, too.
- You can engage both the public and press with poise. You can develop news-worthy activations, write a press release with clarity and creativity, have leverageable industry connections, and know how to position all the above for cross-channel impact.
- You’re comfortable coordinating events down the street and across the country. From local poetry readings to NYFW, you know how to leverage events both big and small for engagement and exposure (bonus: you didn’t have to Google “NYFW”).
- You have a strategic perspective on how brands can win in 2022 (and beyond). In a crowded sea of incumbents and newcomers, how might Stumptown engage its audience (and like-minded psychographics) in ways that are authentic, yet creative and buzzworthy? Where are our biggest opportunities? Where are our blind spots? If you’re brimming with ideas. Let’s talk.
