Overview & Impact
Samsung Semiconductor’s marketing communications team is looking for a Digital Media Coordinator to join our team. The right candidate is both a keen observer of semiconductor industry trends and has a keen mastery of the English language with a skill for writing whip smart copy. The right Digital Media Coordinator will have an innate sense of what works in the social space and how to help develop and promote semiconductor technology content programs that will help grow engagement, followers and help drive website traffic. A successful candidate is someone who eats, breaths, sleeps and can talk social media across current and emerging platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, other social channel platforms.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute a results-driven digital/social media strategy
- Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms
- Assist in the creation and editing of written, graphic, video, and photo content
- Develop social strategy for events
- Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels
- Collaborate with marcom team members to create a social media calendar
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends
- Review analytics and create reports on key metrics
- Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy
Qualifications & Required Skills
- Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
- Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
- Proficient in social media marketing tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.
- Excellent social listening skills
- Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
- Work experience as a Social Media Coordinator or a similar role in the Marketing department.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Time management skills
- A keen eye for detail
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
- Outstanding analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Excellent problem solving and networking skills
- Strong work ethics

Prefered Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- Strong background and varied experience in writing, content creation and development in the digital space
- 2+ years managing a brand’s social media accounts
- Experience using social media analytics and ability to develop strategy based on data
- Hands-on experience with a variety of social media platforms and social media scheduling tools
- A deep love of words and the quirky nuances of the English language
- Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines
- Can-do attitude
