About Tippsy:

TippsySake.com is a consumer-facing eCommerce platform to make Japanese sake accessible and available to US consumers for the first time. As a new generation of consumers appreciate authentic cultural experience and Japanese food is now deeply ingrained into American food culture, our approach of unleashing a wide selection of craft sake, telling stories for artisanal breweries in Japan as well as providing personalized customer journey for curious consumers will help this undervalued category become the next wine. We quickly became the largest sales channel for sake in the US after just 2 years of launch.

Tippsy is looking for a creative thinker who excels at growth marketing across platforms, with a proven track record managing digital marketing campaigns. This is a wear-many-hats and get-your-hands-dirty opportunity, perfect for a candidate who loves working in fast-paced, close-knit, startup environments.

What You'll Be Doing:

● Execute and optimize acquisition marketing programs for member growth across channels such as: Facebook/Instagram Ads, email, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, display retargeting, content & influencer marketing, integrated brand partnerships, affiliates, and traditional PR.

● Analyze actual, budgeted and forecasted projections in spend, return on ad spend, CAC and LTV on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.

● Build out a retention strategy across marketing touch-points focusing on opportunities to engage and upsell existing members and decrease churn %.

● Develop and implement fresh, on-trend messaging and creative to drive meaningful engagement and retention with our current and prospective members.

● Manage marketing budget, and provide data-driven reporting to quantify the performance of all marketing initiatives.

● Stay up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends and industry news. Have an eye for product design, analyze and test site optimizations to best align with acquisition and retention goals.

● Be a dynamic and integral part of a small team, assisting with ongoing content meetings, daily operations, monthly fulfillment and much more.

● This role will report directly to CEO.

What You'll Need:

● 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience managing paid media (search, paid social, affiliate) either at an agency or in-house

● Additional experience managing other digital marketing channels such as Youtube, OOH etc.) is a plus

● DTC experience is a plus

● CPG and subscription experience is a plus

● Proficiency in Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager and Google Analytics

● Deep familiarity with digital marketing KPI's such as CPA, CPC, CPM, LTV and ROAS

● Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills with keen attention to detail

● Strong excel skills including building pivot tables, multi-function formulas and graphs

● Excellent written and oral communication skills

● Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams

● Well known about Japanese Sake and culture is a huge plus
