Affiliate Marketing Manager - Direct to Consumer

Job Summary:

LegalShield is looking for an experience direct-to-consumer, Affiliate Marketing Manager to oversee the strategic growth of our affiliate program, influencer marketing, and other pay-to-play opportunities.

The ideal candidate is a mix of creative thinker with an analytical approach to prioritization. If you have experience with affiliate marketing programs, understand how to provide tactical support in implementing campaigns and programs, have launched creative ideas of how to engage with affiliates to get the most out of them, and thrive in the day to day hustle of actively managing these critical partners, this job is for you. We are looking for someone who is comfortable interacting and negotiating with affiliate partners, as well as someone who has an understanding and a desire to keep up with the latest trends in affiliate marketing and knows how to apply those trends to this program.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Be the in-house expert for affiliate marketing - understand how different partnership paths work, and adopt/create strategies to grow

· Develop the strategy for growing revenue generated from our affiliate program, including partners and influencers

· Develop a strategy for finding high-value partners that increase brand awareness, brand value, and drive key business results

· Work with stakeholders to develop regular promotions for our affiliates, and generally owning all operations/quality assurance related to executing affiliate promotions.

· Work with our paid acquisition team to promote our affiliate program

· Discover new, pertinent partnerships and successfully rollout campaigns

· Strengthen existing partnerships and turn ad-hoc publishers into long-term media partners

· Automate operations and scale the program to meet planned growth goals

· Report on performance, but more importantly, understand the underlying data and use it to optimize and improve upon strategy

· Manage channel revenue and profitability

· Analyze campaigns and development of strategies for promoting the program

· Keep affiliates up to date on new products and any program enhancements and continually motivating affiliates to perform better

· Deliver affiliate marketing reports to the team

· Oversee budget planning

Experience/Skills:

· A minimum of 5 years of relevant affiliate marketing experience, ideally for an ecommerce or direct-to-consumer business

· Experience with Partnerize, Optimise Media, and similar platforms

· Experience managing budgets that are at least 6 figures/month, and programs with hundreds of publishers of different sizes

· Experience running partnerships with a wide range of publishers including but not limited to: niche/smaller publishers (e.g. mid-size WordPress sites), influencers (e.g. social-only partners), large publishers, and sub-networks

· High proficiency with affiliate management software from Impact or other enterprise affiliate management platforms (e.g. CJ, Rakuten)

· Excellent business development skills

· A strong understanding of marketing attribution and how different channels interplay at different points in the customer journey

· Moderate experience with Excel / Google Sheets

· Experience with Google Analytics

· An understanding of different social networks and social media marketing performance measurement
