Director of Retention & Lifecycle Marketing (Remote)

Who you are

Looking for a highly-motivated Director of Retention & Lifecycle Marketing to join our team. This is a fast-paced role, which encompasses campaign strategy development, management and execution on CRM campaigns across all our targetable channels. The ideal candidate will be able to understand and empathize with our customers at each point in their hair color journey. Leveraging these insights along with identified user behavior your objective is to create and establish a 1:1 relationship between Madison Reed and our customers. Candidates should have a strong perspective on CRM best practices within the B2C space and be able to apply appropriately across channels.

What you’ll do

  • Build and manage high-performing team to optimize and personalize the customer journey map
  • Take full ownership of our CRM platform from a data and technical perspective
  • Define and drive our customer adoption, engagement and re-engagement strategy across targetable channels, including email, SMS, paid-retargeting and push notifications
  • Configure and optimize cross-channel customer segmentation and lifecycle campaigns
  • Identify the key behaviors that correlate to increased usage and affinity towards Madison Reed and our portfolio of products
  • Test, learn, and refine all customer journeys to influence client behavior and move towards higher LTV paths and loyalists
  • Compose creative and strategy briefs that clearly communicate business objectives, best practices, and considerations for engaging content
  • Work with digital product and engineering teams on improvements and fixes that optimize the customer experience
  • Partner with the Merchandising team to develop targeted strategies and campaigns to support various products
  • Stay on top of industry trends and best practices, competitive landscape and explore ways to apply these findings
  • Monitor, report on and optimize all retention metrics to ensure delivery against forecasted targets

Skills we’re excited about

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred not required
  • 6-8+ yrs in a marketing position with demonstrated experience in CRM and lifecycle marketing
  • 3-5 years of people leadership experience, with a passion for developing talent
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work effectively in fast-paced environment
  • Analytically minded with ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience working with and in ESP and reporting dashboards
  • Must be a self-starter who excels at multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Stays current with CRM marketing strategies (i.e. signing up for products just to get a glimpse at their onboarding emails)
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively across departments and teams
