TITLE: Digital Marketing Manager

REPORTS TO: Associate Director, Digital Marketing

Overview


Urban Outfitters is looking for an experienced digital marketer to join our marketing team and lead all Affiliate marketing programs, supporting the growth of our business and brand. The Digital Marketing Manager will develop strategic and tactical plans that drive sustained, profitable growth in the Affiliates channel. They will help develop marketing plans that’s support key business areas, customer acquisition and brand awareness. The ideal candidate possesses an ability to identify and execute tactical optimizations, and can implement thoughtful, data-driven ideas to drive meaningful growth for the business and brand.


Responsibilities

  • Lead Affiliate Marketing program, developing innovative strategies, managing budgets, and making strategic optimizations to meet key business goals
  • Act as point of contact with external agency to communicate business priorities, promotional updates, and develop optimization strategies
  • Lead and execute influencer strategy in concert with other marketing partners
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with top affiliates and other third-party partners, communicating promotional calendars, creative, and business updates
  • Continually monitor and analyze channel performance, and leverage data to adjust strategies to reach business goals and core channel KPIs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with digital marketing and analytics teams to identify areas of efficiency and improvement to drive effective growth
  • Collaborate with merchandising teams on weekly, monthly, and quarterly priorities, and translate into actionable marketing plans
  • Proactively conduct research on industry trends, publisher opportunities, and incremental testing strategies to grow and diversify our Affiliate programs

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in Affiliate and influencer marketing
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth environment
  • Experience collaborating and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet business goals
  • Ability to analyze channel data and turn into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Passion for digital, staying on top of the changing ecosystem including advertising formats, channels, and technologies
  • Self-starter and self-motivated
  • Positive, can-do, problem-solving attitude, purposeful, but ability to have fun, etc.
  • An innate curiosity and ability to breakdown complex analyses into concise, straightforward recommendations and marketing initiatives
  • A collaborative, ‘team-first’ attitude and a leadership style that prioritizes career and personal development

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
