Position: Video & Influencer Marketing Intern

Location: Sephora LA Studio

Pay Rate: $23/HR

Start Dates: May 23rd or June 6th (10-week program)

As a Video & Influencer Marketing Intern, You Will

  • Network with industry leaders and peers. Our Sephora executives are committed to investing in our interns and want to hear from you. Interns can expect to attend meetings with top leaders in the company.
  • Get exposure to cross-functional teams. Sephora has a highly collaborative culture, so you are encouraged and expected to work closely with other related teams such as Brand Marketing, Merchants, Campaign and Content & Media

Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to the Sephora social strategy through weekly share outs and participation in team meetings
  • Analyze the social and influencer competitive space to identify new opportunities to evolve Sephora’s social media strategy
  • Support Sephora produced video marketing with channel management inclusive of channel auditing, programming and tracking content usage/talent rights
  • Support shoot preparation inclusive of comp requests, inventory management and assortment preparation
  • Capture key learnings from the influencer & video programs and findings on a weekly basis
  • Develop and test a communication strategy for the SephoraSquad Instagram channel
  • On site event support acting as a influencer concierge
  • Develop, grow, create and have fun

What You Will Accomplish

  • Lead or assist on projects using a hands-on approach
  • Contribute to our Influencer marketing competitor analysis and #SephoraSquad program learnings-assisting the team in evolving the Influencer Program to remain competitive and differentiated in the space.
  • Find and create efficiencies: This role will also contribute to building out a more streamlined, organized process for cross functional comp communication and handoff for Influencer Campaign & Gratis Requests

To help ensure success, we are requiring the following characteristics, skills and experiences:

Education And Experience

  • Candidate must exhibit the following skills and/or experience:
  • Interest in Influencer & Social Marketing
  • Prior work experience in a marketing related field
  • Strong interest in beauty
  • Proficient in relevant social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Snapchat, Twitter, TikTok and emerging channels

  • Ability to quickly adapt to ever-changing Influencer and social landscape
  • Well organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Personable and flexible with demands and changes in a fast-moving business environment
  • Pulse on emerging social, influencer and beauty trends

Time Commitment

  • Hours: 40 Hybrid (in office and at home)
