Digital Marketing Manager
VG Growth Partners (VG), through its free2b brand and Crunchsters’ product line, is on a mission to create snack foods that are free from the top food allergens in their pursuit to bring great tasting and safe, allergen free eating to those who have food allergies and to everyone else – amazingly great tasting snacks that are made with care.
What You’ll Do:
The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and overseeing the overall digital presence for VG. This digital leader will work closely with the VP of Marketing to develop digital strategy and ensure brand messaging is aligned to create demand and customer acquisition across multiple channels in order to support both retail sales and e-commerce. You will be accountable for designing and executing digital campaigns and measuring the effectiveness of all digital activities, along with the day-to-day supervision of free2b’s and Crunchsters’ digital presence. You will work with a select group of outside agencies to create and optimize websites, social media, digital advertising, and e-commerce sales funnels that convert traffic to transactions. To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to juggle multiple projects, be a self-starter, and provide consistent thought leadership to help create an omnichannel digital strategy that is both impactful and effective. You will be expected to think both strategically and roll up your sleeves to help scale the business and deliver exceptional good-ness to our customers!
Responsibilities (or How You’ll Do It):
- Create and implement comprehensive digital strategies across social media, web, email marketing, influencer marketing, e-Commerce initiatives, paid media and advertising campaigns
- Gain a deep understanding of the VG brands stories and products in order to communicate the clearest, most engaging messages
- Be the owner of all websites, social media platforms, and all third-party app/plug in providers and tool kit service providers
- Work with various teams to create and distribute digital content for social, pushing external agency partners to refine strategic messaging and content strategy when needed
- Formulate e-Commerce strategies that harness sales-related insights to drive high profit across all revenue channels including Shopify, Amazon, and Walmart.com
- Design each brand’s customer journey and ensure that every touchpoint is properly quantified in terms of relative impact on conversion, customer satisfaction and retention/loyalty
- Manage digital marketing and promotional campaigns to efficiently drive customer acquisition and retention, including setting strategic direction, project execution, and ROI tracking
- Leverage data to identify trends, customer insights, and ROAS to optimize spend and performance driving company KPIs
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies informed by industry + marketing trends
- Ongoing attention and improvements made to the user experience on the company's websites and landing pages: including design, content, and usability
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
- Prioritize resource allocation across the Marketing channel mix, and assist with budget management related to digital activities
- Collaborate with and evaluate the performance of agencies and other vendor partners
- Build out marketing channels beyond standard paid media acquisition channels including Partnerships, Influencer Marketing, Inserts, Events, and PR
- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Requirements (You Have, or You Are):
- 4+ years of experience within digital marketing and a key understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem
- Experience creating and executing strategies for e-Commerce growth
- Good balance of creative and analytical thinking
- Strong marketing copywriting background
- Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and Pinterest experience
- Robust reporting capabilities and ability to communicate results clearly
- Understanding of SEO best practices
- Experience driving paid influencer marketing programs
- Comfortable in Shopify, Amazon, Klaviyo, and Google Analytics
- Self-motivated with entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to learn, adapt, and grow
- Team player with a strong work ethic, and good communication, organizational and collaboration skills
- Comfortable making decisions
- Experience leading teams, meetings, brainstorming sessions preferred
- Eager to learn and grow
- Able to operate at two altitudes: strategic and executional
- Someone who thrives in a fast paced, growth company environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities
