Program Manager, Influencers, Amazon Ads
Job Summary
DESCRIPTION
*Open to hiring in Seattle and Santa Monica*
Amazon Ads operates at the intersection of ecommerce and advertising, offering a rich array of digital advertising solutions with the goal of helping our customers find and discover anything they want to buy. We help advertisers reach Amazon customers on Amazon owned and operated sites and on other high quality sites across the web. We start with the customer and work backwards in everything we do, including advertising. If you’re interested in joining a rapidly growing team working to build a unique, world-class advertising product with a relentless focus on the customer, you’ve come to the right place.
A strategically important part of our charter is to drive adoption across a portfolio of self-service, cost per click advertising products to enable head to tail advertisers to engage with customers in relevant ways. Our team is tasked with making it easy for sellers and vendors to advertise their products, thereby increasing the visibility of their products, which also helps Amazon customers discover more selection—a win-win!
We are looking for a creative and innovative Marketing Manager to join our team to drive education and adoption of self-service advertising products through influencers. In this role, you will be responsible for strategy and execution of digital marketing campaigns to amplify influencer content, focused on driving education of our ad products.
The ideal candidate for this role understands the digital ecosystem very well, is deeply analytical and operates from a customer-first perspective to understand user journeys, barriers and media consumption patterns. You will lead digital marketing campaigns, leveraging influencer-developed content, and constantly optimize performance while discovering new areas of growth in different geographies via channel, creative, and audience innovation. To be successful you’ll need to be a strong communicator who can earn trust with key stakeholders across multiple teams. You will be excited to test and learn in a data driven environment, using customer data and insight to drive channel recommendations. You have in-depth knowledge and experience working on influencer, social or digital marketing. You are fluent in influencer marketing best practices and know how to collaborate with talent and creators to build world-class digital marketing campaigns. You are comfortable with ambiguity and are willing to work autonomously, handling multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritizing accordingly to contribute to ambitious growth plans. If you are organized, analytical, and data driven, with an interest to own your marketing strategy end to end, this is a great role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead an annual marketing plan to align on key growth areas, maintain a complete project schedule, and make it constantly visible to leadership and stakeholders
- Own highly visible demand generation focused marketing campaigns from beginning to end — from gathering of requirements, design and development, to testing, launch, and reporting
- Partner with key cross-functional teams to influence successful, measurable marketing ideas, and plans in order to drive business outcomes, while integrating influencer participation in our marketing, advertising, owned and operated channels and events
- Collaborate with a range of internal (PR, Legal, Content) teams to negotiate agreements and amplify impact
- Develop KPI’s and insights both internally and with external partners to benchmark expectations and goals
- Analyze the performance of channel, and share results with senior leaders and stakeholders
