Compensation: $140,000 to $150,000 Annually

Job Overview

The Marketing Director of Performance and eCommerce will build and lead the performance marketing and retention teams. This team will be responsible for the full-funnel digital acquisition and retention / lifecycle marketing channels. Channel responsibilities include, but are not limited to: paid social, affiliates, paid search / shopping, SEO, SMS, promotions, email, web push, influencer marketing, referrals, and partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the performance marketing and retention teams
  • Work closely & collaboratively with Senior Leaders and Co Founders to understand target needs and motivations
  • Define strategy for identifying new and optimizing existing channels in partnership with brand and creative teams to scale and diversify Soko Glam and Then I Met You customer acquisition efforts
  • Oversee CRM and retention marketing to develop broader engagement strategy for consumers; manage our Soko Rewards Program and develop loyalty strategy
  • Build financial forecasts based on different budget scenarios and partnering with finance on the P&L.
  • Manage company wide marketing budget efficiently in order to help Soko Glam achieve our short and long term growth objectives and profitability targets
  • Optimize Soko Glam’s media mix based on insights from experiments (geo, channel, stage of marketing funnel)

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience marketing digital consumer products with a strong understanding of reaching, acquiring, and retaining customers, experience within in the beauty industry preferred
  • Exceptional analytical skills and deep experience with A/B testing and optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated understanding of needs of key stakeholder segments
  • Proactive, strategic, implementation-focused, and ready to roll up your sleeves and make an impact right away.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to translate customer needs into meaningful value propositions & core messaging
  • Presentation development skills and an eye for design
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to stay calm in a sometimes-hectic environment and creative problem-solving skills are required
  • Self-starter with an ability to work independently on projects from start to finish, while also being an excellent collaborator
  • Expertise in core business tools (Microsoft suite including PPT and Excel, project management tools, and analytics platforms)
