Marketing Specialist, HomeGoods

We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious individual who wants to build a career in Marketing. Your work as the Marketing Specialist is a foundational position that will be the key liaison with all functional areas within marketing. You will play a critical role in preparing internal and Field communications, facilitating photoshoot logistics and execution and support functional areas across the team inclusive of public relations, social media and grand openings. In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should have excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the setup, facilitation and completion of internal and Field marketing communications, events and creative projects
  • Create visually appealing and comprehensive communication materials such as campaign decks and executive presentations
  • Partner with channel leads across the team to facilitate photoshoots including product and sample procurement
  • Organize and maintain an inventory of earned coverage
  • Partner with grand opening team to develop and distribute press releases and assist with grand opening related press inquiries
  • Collaborate with organic social media team to execute key marketing initiatives that strengthen influencer relationships and drive brand advocacy

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree: 1-2 years’ experience in Marketing
  • Experience working in a retail environment supporting public relations, social media, and/or events preferred
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Adhere to deadlines and provide follow-up to ensure completeness and quality
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and people skills. Ability to build relationships, interact professionally and comfortably
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Interest in home fashion/fashion trends, pop culture, media news and digitally savvy
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
