Social Strategist

We are on the hunt for an experienced Social Strategist from the social or media industry to lead the charge of taking our offerings to market. Someone who deeply understands the people we are creating for and identifies areas of opportunities for them. You are a generalist with strength in and passion for social strategy, bringing brand and product experiences to life. As a Social Strategist, you have excellent multitasking skills to handle all of our social media accounts in a cohesive way. You’ll be a member of an ambitious, fast-paced team of social media experts, ideating and creating for a wide range of clients across different industries. This is an Atlanta-based, yet remote-friendly position.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of related work experience in social media
- Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working with social media tools such as Power Editor, Facebook Ads Manager, etc
- An experienced professional from either an agency, media company or social company with a deep understanding of all three industries.
- A person with a desire to be a leader and grow a team within an integral part of a small, yet rapidly growing company.
- You get excited about coming up with new, cutting-edge ways to utilize social media.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to finish work within deadlines.
- A positive, passionate, and eager-to-collaborate attitude.
Requirements:
- Extensive storytelling capabilities both verbally and visually. You have the ability to turn data and insights into a compelling narrative that informs the strategy and creative suggestions in a client proposal.
- You get energy and enthusiasm for presentations and will have experience dealing with on-the-spot questions and being able to articulate your extensive social marketing knowledge to prospective clients.
- You have extensive contacts in digital & social media (client and agency side), and brands with the ability to independently build a large pipeline
- You have a deep understanding of team structures, process development, and what it means to build a scalable business model
- You have previous experience at a startup media company
What You'll Be Doing:
- Identify, maximize and present new opportunities for client growth
- Develop a paid social strategy based on client-specific goals
- Develop inspirational briefs and strong partnerships with creative teams
- Be a creative collaborator: Have the ability to be the voice of the brand and the influencer to create content that is authentic and powerful for both channels.
- Work effectively within measurement tools to prepare reporting and optimization recommendations based upon relevant KPIs.
- Use social listening to provide insights
- Support marketing research for the development of strategic recommendations
- Perform competitive and trend analysis
