Amazon Live is a customer-first, high-energy, full of personality video streaming program for influencers that produce engaging shoppable live video content. Amazon Live is designed to catch customer attention by bringing products and brands to life through real people and stories. We offer the opportunity for brands to integrate into Amazon influencer livestreams and we help customers discover products and brands, and make more informed buying decisions. We make it easy for customers to explore and buy as they watch with the ability to interact with content creators in real time. Brands and Influencers can earn on Amazon through livestreams while they interact with shoppers and grow a following.

The Creator Success team supports creator growth, education, recruitment and marketing. The goal of this team is to educate and incentivize creators to produce content that is inspiring, informative and entertaining to engage consumers. We are looking for a Creator Marketing and Events Manager to sit among the creator success team and spearhead virtual and in-person event planning and execution to drive awareness and acquisition across the creator community. This person will support all B2B marketing initiatives inclusive of virtual events, in-person events, and Amazon Live shopping festivals. You will work cross-functionally with other teams across the organization including retail, design, business development, and program management. This role will help create valuable offerings around events and shopping festivals to help drive acquisition and engagement across top influencers. Successful candidates will be strong leaders who can prioritize well with strong project management skills, communicate clearly, and have a strong track record of delivery. You are comfortable taking initiative and working across teams in a relatively unstructured environment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Grow adoption of Amazon Live among brands and influencers by driving awareness, demand, and acquisition through in person and virtual events.
  • Support top of funnel marketing initiatives for unregistered creators and lower funnel marketing initiatives to retain and engage creators in our program through engagement events.
  • Drive engagement across our top tier influencers through valuable offerings such as scaling a process for brands to offer influencers promo codes they can use as live-exclusive offers during shopping events.
  • Spearhead the creator content strategy for Amazon Live shopping festivals.
  • Leverage face to face, in person, intimate, opportunities to recruit new high-value creators to the Amazon Live program and retain high-value creators in our program.
  • Work with designers to develop creative content for events and shopping festivals.
  • Work with content writers to develop compelling messaging in support of marketing messaging.
  • Analyze and report on performance metrics and set up test plans to improve.
  • Compile learning and share best practices across teams to help achieve the most effectiveness.
  • Work hands on with brands to develop best practices and to learn pain points that can be addressed and solved in scalable communications you build.
  • Track best practices, monitor industry trends, and make recommendations.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities at once.
  • Prior work in experiential marketing activations.
  • Experience supporting high visibility shopping events.
  • Strong execution capability with highest standards in a rapidly evolving business.
  • Ability to work directly with brands and influencer related to the live product.
  • Comfortable public speaking.
