Boredwalk is hiring a growth-oriented Director of Partnerships to own Boredwalk’s affiliate, influencer and brand partnership programs. The ideal candidate is a strong self-starter with existing ecommerce experience who specializes in affiliate/influencer marketing and brand partnerships.
The best person for this job will have a passion and track record of building and growing meaningful affiliate & influencer marketing programs and brand partnerships. You will own and be responsible for driving meaningful growth for Boredwalk.
You’ll need to be fluent in all social platforms with an emphasis on Tik Tok & YouTube. If you’ve been in house for a DTC ecommerce brand that is a plus.
WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON:
- Establishing strategy/execution plans and budgets for Boredwalk’s affiliate/influencer marketing program
- Develop and manage processes and systems for growing our affiliate/influencer marketing and brand partnership programs
- Make strategic data-driven decisions and improvements to our affiliate/influencer marketing and brand partnership programs
- Own day to day management of all programs & participants. Which includes:
- managing and growing a list of brands and influencers/affiliates that would be ideal collaboration partners, identifying partners for gifting and collaborations and maximizing ROI
- Reaching out to, recruiting, managing, and communicating with brand partners and affiliates/influencers, ensuring product samples and/or compensation are distributed accurately and on time
- Execute co-hosted giveaways with appropriate brand partners, in an effort to grow the brand's email and SMS list.
- Manage partner contracts, negotiate pricing, term agreements, and renewals
- Be the SME on all things social, influencer and affiliate marketing! I.e. Stay up to date on the latest best practices in brand partnerships, influencer, and affiliate marketing
- Partner with leadership to set monthly/quarterly/annual budgets for all programs
- Recruit and hire additional program resources as needed
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5+ years of digital marketing experience with either an agency that serves DTC eCommerce clients OR as part of an in-house marketing team at a DTC ecommerce brand
- A history of developing and managing successful, profitable brand partnerships and influencer/affiliate marketing programs
- Expertise on major social media platforms (Tik Tok, Instagram/FB, Snapchat, Twitter, Youtube, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with e-commerce marketing stacks and tools including, but not limited to, Shopify, Google Analytics, Klaviyo, Grin, Aspire, Dovetale.
- Strong collaboration to make data driven decisions for all marketing programs
- Strong writing, communication and organizational skills, as well as strong relationship-building skills
- A driven self-starter with a strong work ethic and talent for learning new things quickly
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently’
- A results and growth-oriented mindset and a passion for great products
- Strong attention to detail, project management, and exceptional prioritization skills
- Proven ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving and end results.
