As Head of Content Marketing, you'll be responsible for crafting the overall vision, strategy, and direction of Centercode's content-driven initiatives. This includes managing the content marketing calendar, driving the creation and production of marketing content, and ultimately, executing a high-performing content strategy that aligns with Centercode's engagement and lead generation goals.
What You'll Do As Head Of Content Marketing
- Establish and execute a robust and effective content marketing strategy
- Collaborate with the Product team create and maintain a messaging map
- Champion fresh content ideas and drive creative thinking across the marketing team
- Manage a holistic and efficient content production program
- Ensure timely creation, distribution and promotion of content
- Create and maintain a content calendar for leadership updates and organization visibility
- Manage, motivate, coach, and support a small content marketing team
- Enforce and refine content style, standards, and branding
- Develop messaging strategy for all communication types and channels
- Identify new opportunities to promote relevant content, tailoring for our target market
- Direct and monitor proper use of messaging across all teams within the organization
- Establish and evaluate measurement metrics to assess the effectiveness of our content
- Make data-driven adjustments to strategy, messaging, mediums, and frequency
- Work collaboratively within marketing and across customer and product-related functions
Content Objectives You'll Drive
- Category creation and awareness, corporate and product awareness, and demand generation
- Alignment with all stages of the sales and marketing funnel
- Targeting diverse stakeholders (prospects, customers, partners, influencers, etc.)
- Utilization of multiple content types (premium content, webinars, blog posts, video, etc.)
- Consistency of our brand, messaging, voice, and identity across all content
What You'll Need to Do the Job
- 5+ years of B2B experience - this is essential
- 5+ years of experience managing a successful content marketing strategy and program
- 5+ years of experience creating content in multiple formats
- Proven experience in building a vision and strategy for content marketing function
- A deep understanding of how to interpret and act on metrics to “move the needle”
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on design, web development, campaigns, etc.
- Experience measuring content marketing success with KPIs
- Experience managing a blog, social channels
- Understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them
- Strong knowledge of online lead generation tactics
- Excellent writing, editing, and creative content skills
- Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and ongoing work items with changing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and successfully drive projects to completion
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing attention to detail
What'll Give You An Edge
- 5+ years of experience at a SaaS company
- Proven ability to create a messaging map and strategy
- Expertise with content management systems (Wordpress, Webflow, etc.), and HubSpot
- A passion for learning, automating, and sharing knowledge
- Experience with Influencer marketing
- Experience managing design resources (internal and external)
- Marketing leadership experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or a related field
