Sr Manager, Influencer Strategy
Joining the Content Strategy team, this individual is responsible for supporting and executing strategies for our Influencer program.
The Sr. Manager, Influencer Strategy will play a critical role in leading the influencer program strategy and execution of our campaigns. We need someone who can step in, take responsibility, and very quickly understand the brand(s) you work on and begin contributing. This person must have experience in devising influencer strategies, executing campaigns, have strong project management skills and the ability to drive strategic thinking and recommendations to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Sr. Director, Global Content to ensure the concepting and execution of successful influencer campaigns throughout the year (29 planned campaigns with the potential of incremental campaigns added)
- Develop and execute robust influencer strategies that align with our brand vision and KPIs as well as seamlessly align with and support our brand marketing efforts.
- Including but not limited to sourcing partners, vetting recommendations for partners from cross-functional teams (infomercial talent, culinary summits, etc.), developing campaign strategies, drafting and reviewing briefing documents, communicating with partners.
- Oversee a team of two specialists who manage the creation and management of all influencer partnerships through sourcing, contracts, deliverables, and overall program management
- Analyze historical and current performance data to optimize our influencer program strategy
- Drive a learning agenda of activities ahead of go-to-market launches to ensure actionable learnings and optimizations of briefs and partner communications. Including but not limited to pre-GTM content testing/validation and focus groups
- Partner with the cross-functional digital and media teams to recommend distribution and amplification strategies that support larger product and business priorities
- Engage on influencer content to drive brand awareness and build/retain consumer loyalty
- Deliver performance and insight reports on consumer, content, and platform trends to contribute to the consistent innovation of our influencer program and media strategy
- Partner cross-functionally with brand marketing, digital and, sales to align on product information such a key messaging, launch dates and inventory
- Ensure that project plans are on track and that the team remains accountable to cross-functional partners
Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of prior Influencer Marketing experience required, preferably with direct responsibility for strategy development, execution, and reporting
- Experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing campaigns
- Experience in creative strategy development, advertising and launching new products
- Proven success managing a team, through hands on coaching and development
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or equivalent experience
