A dedicated, dynamic digital marketing specialist with a passion for social media and a strong understanding of the digital media landscape is needed for the Walt Disney Studios Digital Marketing team. This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted position that requires creativity, improvisation, organization and communication at a very high level. This position may require some non-traditional working hours (early morning/weekends), light travel and on field level work at events, including premieres, screenings & junkets.

The position will support the Senior Manager and Manager across all titles on the development and execution of comprehensive digital campaigns.

Responsibilities :

  • The Digital Creative Specialist will work with the Digital Marketing team members to, execute creative and social tactics and handle day to day operations for motion picture and Disney+ films and series campaigns across all brands which includes managing:
    • Social content for multiple profiles within Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok along with emerging social platforms
    • Defined social editorial calendars for all digital platforms across multiple titles
    • Campaign milestones, calendars and all other relevant planning and campaign documents
    • Creative production and creative vendor management for social creative, copywriting, website development and CRMs
    • Executing creative materials for all paid digital creative and media programs
    • Spearhead several specific campaign programs, included but not limited to: influencer/creator programs, alternative content/art creation, digital/platform-specific stunts
  • Follow design trends, patterns, and cutting-edge web technologies
  • Liaise and communicate with internal global markets on the distribution of debuts, assets and content
  • Track and create detailed recap decks of key campaign activations and performance metrics

Basic Qualifications :

  • Hands-on experience creating/executing successful multi-platform digital marketing/media campaigns
  • Strong working knowledge of social media, digital ad inventory and mobile behaviors/opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to manage multiple outside creative agencies and provide clear, concise creative feedback and guidance
  • Understanding of paid digital media and familiar with spec sheets, DoubleClick and other rich media platforms
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative copywriting experience and visual design skills a plus
  • Ability to be proactive and resourceful
  • Proficient in Outlook, Keynote, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite highly desirable
  • Experience working within the entertainment industry and international markets highly desirable

Required Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree plus relevant internship experience.
