ARTECHOUSE (ATH) is seeking a Social Media Manager to join our growing Digital team. You will be the voice of the ATH community and play a key role in communicating the vision and mission of our innovative brand to our audience.

In this role you will be responsible for the strategy and day-to-day management of ARTECHOUSE’s social channels and community development across social media platforms. You will work within the Locations team to create and share content with the world, working under the supervision and with support of the Deputy. Director of Digital Marketing and Audience Engagement.

WHO YOU ARE

An ideal candidate will understand and translate the brand tone, is a quick problem solver and a clear written and verbal communicator. You must be very detail oriented, contribute ideas for content and social engagement — you excel when handed a roadmap and given the opportunity to creatively and innovatively execute.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Partner with the Deputy Director of Digital Marketing and Audience Engagement to build, implement, and execute ARTECHOUSE’s social media strategy across all digital platforms, boosting engagement, visibility and visitations.

● Maintain a cohesive social media brand voice across social channels by creating and posting content that delivers on our mission to inspire, educate and empower — on platforms like Facebook, Google, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat, and TikTok through both proactive and reactive content.

● Manage day-to-day social listening across social platforms, including engaging on behalf of ATH with the online community, while ensuring brand voice and timely responsiveness to comments and requests is maintained consistently.

● Maintain the social media content calendar.

● Prepare social data and insights to help inform the team’s strategic, creative and paid decision-making.

● Monitor and analyze social media trends, hashtags, influencer engagement, emerging technology and current events to seek out and spearhead opportunities to engage with popular conversations.

● Partner with the Marketing team to create paid and organic campaign-based storytelling in support of ticket sales.

● Outline content needs, write briefs, and feedback on work for Social Media Content Producer.

● Oversee additional social media staff as the team grows.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS + SKILLS:

● BA in Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism or other related fields

● 3+ years of professional experience in social media management and digital media production, preferably for arts, music or entertainment fields

● Expert knowledge of and passion for social media, how audiences consume content, and where people live on the internet

● Advanced knowledge and demonstrated success in social media campaigns and strategies to drive engagement and grow/increase presence across platforms

● Experience working with community management and running social accounts through an array of publishing tools

● Knack for problem solving and ability to think on your feet – react IRL with solutions

● Strong attention to detail and project management skills

● Experience overseeing and managing direct reports with varying skill sets

● Amazing interpersonal communication skills and desire to implement creative thoughts

● Flexibility to work non-standard business hours, including nights and weekends

● Availability to travel and be on-site at our art spaces to direct and create content as needed

● Ability to meet deadlines and work with others

● Knowledge and/or passion of digital art and culture worlds is a must
