Assistant Account Executive - Influencer Management

Compensation: $45,000 to $53,000 Annually

RVD Communications is looking for a strategic, self-motivated & resourceful assistant account executive to join our growing influencer management division.

Applicants ideally have some hands-on influencer internship experience, working in-house or in a fast-paced agency environment. The job includes a dynamic mix of list building, pitch writing, research, reporting, event support, and more.

All candidates will be expected to speak eloquently about previous internship (or relevant school) successes and provide clips and relevant references that may include former colleagues, managers, clients and/or influencer contacts.

RVD has a hybrid schedule – we are primarily remote, but employees are encouraged to work out of our Manhattan office 2-3x/month. That said, if you are not based in NYC, we are open to discussing a remote-only role.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work with senior team to ideate creative influencer campaigns and outreach strategies to support client goals
  • Source and vet new influencer relationships, lock them in, scale them, and help manage the ongoing relationships
  • Build strategic influencer target lists, using organic research and agency tools (Dovetale, Mighty Scout, RocketReach, etc.)
  • Organize influencer interest/request logs, paid campaign budgets, partnership agreements, and other materials (with the support of the senior team)
  • Research and source materials for influencer campaign projects (e.g. gifted mailers), helping execute the project from sourcing to packing and shipping
  • Maintain client social media materials, imagery, lists and other assets
  • Build and expand influencer contact rolodex and connections
  • Support social media management (calendar content creation, copywriting, etc.) division when time allows, strategically leveraging influencer content to repurpose across clients’ owned channels
  • Stay in the know across the social media and influencer marketing industries, compiling monthly updates for the agency at large (pulled from relevant articles and internal agency platforms)
  • Draft effective and comprehensive client meeting agendas and recaps
  • Manage and train agency interns (when applicable) – support their growth at the agency and ensure account work is completed well and on time
  • Demonstrate a desire to grow, learn and adapt based on positive and constructive feedback from supervisors
  • Manage engagements with 5-6 clients at the same time
  • Maintain workload organization — adopt agency best practices (Asana!) and proactively ask for support when needed

Salary Range:

$45,000 - $53,000/yr, depending on past experience
