Reporting to our VP of Marketing, the Brand Director will oversee brand strategy, integrated marketing, social and influencer marketing, and product launches to drive awareness, preference, and passion for the Little Passports brand of products. In this role, you will lead the strategy and oversee the execution of breakthrough marketing programs that build brand awareness, affinity, and product purchase.

You will:

  • Lead the messaging and positioning strategy for all storytelling. Work closely with the creative team and channel managers to ensure seamless integration and storytelling across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Strategize, manage, and execute brand marketing initiatives across, but not limited to social media, influencer marketing, blog, YouTube, website, and email content.
  • Steer the go-to-market strategy for all major new product launches, including defining the product position, messaging, and strategic marketing plan that supports the sales goals Guide cross-functional team toward development of an integrated marketing plan.
  • Own and lead the roll-out of any changes to brand visual identity in collaboration with the Creative and Design teams.
  • Own the relationship with the BEGiN PR team and any agency partners; act as a thought partner to help drive creative and thoughtful branding elements into strategy, pitches, and PR materials related to the Little Passports brand.
  • Represent the voice of the customer, managing programs to capture and translate customer insights into strategies and creative briefs that will influence results-oriented, brand-differentiating work across all channels.
  • Work with your colleagues focused on Performance and Retention marketing to understand their needs and capitalize on content creation opportunities to ensure a cohesive and consistent customer journey.
  • Co-lead SEO initiatives with partners in Performance Marketing and CRO
  • Routinely share marketing strategies and plans, program results and learnings, and relevant industry trends with the broader organization.
  • Guide a team of 2-4 marketing professionals
  • Manage external agency needs as required.

Must Haves:

  • 8-10 years of experience in brand management or related roles in DTC and/or children’s or family products.
  • Excellent writing skills, an aesthetic eye, and the ability to execute impactful on-brand campaigns across multiple channels including Brand Response programs in both digital and television formats
  • Strategic and creative thinker with a strong background in brand management with a heavy emphasis on digital brand marketing
  • Understanding of how to leverage consumer insights/segmentation to drive annual and seasonal strategies; willingness to lead research initiatives in collaboration with agency or internal stakeholders
  • Experience creating and leading long-term brand planning process to support product launches and key brand initiatives
  • Highly self-motivated and will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires an ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills that can be adapted for audiences at all levels across the organization.
  • Financial understanding of marketing ROI, brand health, and impact on the business
  • Experience developing a high-caliber team of marketers who are motivated to achieve their best.
  • Experience managing creative agencies, writing creative briefs, and partnering with internal creative teams
