Role Overview
The Influencer Marketing Manager is responsible for managing influencer campaigns and maintaining influencer relations for the brand. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and detail-oriented, can effectively manage multiple projects at one time and has a strong knowledge and understanding of the influencer marketing and digital/social media landscape.
This role will report to the Senior Manager of Brand Advocacy and will play an integral role in the development and execution of paid influencer campaigns from end to end. The role is dedicated to creating brand awareness and engagement via our influencer partnerships. We are looking for a candidate who has 3 to 5 years experience managing influencer campaigns and working with talent directly.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute monthly influencer campaigns across social media channels. This includes:
- Identify influencers to partner with that will assist in achieving greater marketing & business goals and expand the program.
- Pitch, negotiate, contract and onboard influencers for paid campaigns.
- Manage day to day communication with paid influencers and managers to ensure campaigns run smoothly.
- Review contracted content including in-feed posts, instagram stories and youtube videos to confirm they follow campaign playbook and brand guidelines.
- Track influencer posts to ensure efficacy of the program. Create weekly and monthly reports for the team to analyze opportunities and optimize where needed.
- Partner cross functionally to integrate influencer strategy efforts for product launches and brand initiatives.
- Research and stay updated on industry and social media trends.
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor's degree marketing, communications, or similar area
- 5 years professional experience in influencer marketing or similar role (agency experience preferred)
- Proven track record of executing large scale influencer campaigns.
- Experience working with a wide variety of influencers (micro to macro) and knowing when to partner with each influencer category.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and work productively with a variety of people.
- Flexibility to handle changing market conditions and workload under tight deadlines.
- Creative and strategic thinker who can easily shift from thinking big to rolling up your sleeves and executing smaller tasks.
- Articulate, thoughtful, and persuasive communicator, and a strong advocate for our brand both inside and outside the company.
- Well-organized, highly self-motivated, optimistic and positive attitude.
