Interdependence Public Relations, a rapidly growing Public Relations agency is searching for a Vice President of Social Media.

You are all-round senior strategist, with strong understanding of how brands grow in the Social Age. You have experience from multiple categories, and across brands in different stages of growth. You are comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced, international work environment. You can adapt to a changing brief. You believe in both the traditional & the new world of advertising. You constantly try to explore what’s next in the world of brand building. You are able to pitch bold new ideas and frameworks to global CMOs. You know who won the last Film Grand Prix at Cannes and who’s best on Snap. You learn from APG and IPA as well as Instagram’s Creative Hub. You love to work with creatives and with data analysts.

Responsibilities

· Provide strategic direction for paid social programs across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, as well as influencer engagement and native advertising opportunities in alignment and collaboration with strategic leads for other communications channels
· Develop strategies for and oversee execution of live social events such as Facebook/Instagram Live and streaming on YouTube
· Accountable for performance across content and channels; monitor and analyze digital inputs to inform strategic planning and creative content that generates results
· Contribute to new business efforts, as well as internal agency promotion and thought leadership
· Strong knowledge of technologies, tools, and partner opportunities to enhance our work, such as Khoros, Sprinklr, Crimson Hexagon, Datorama, as well as Google marketing products (e.g., AdWords, Analytics, Optimize, Trends, Search Console, Ad Planner)


Qualifications

· US & Global experience.
· 12 years of experience.
· Strong grasp of social media strategy - from conducting competitive research to developing and targeting buyer personas
· Proven experience in brand and communications planning.
· Proven successful collaboration with creative leaders and complex creative teams.
· Proven thought-leadership.
· Management of teams of strategists and cross-disciplinary teams.
· Knows how work with media experts with focus on digital and social media.
· Understanding of landscape with focus on social media.
· Willingness to learn, explore, and reinvent.
· Effective written and verbal communications skills. Ability to write and deliver persuasive presentations is critical.
· Strong analytical skills. Ability to interpret ongoing research and media reports, guide and partner with social media experts to inform communications recommendations.
