This role presents a unique opportunity to shape the brand strategy, narrative, and voice for Google’s rapidly growing Shopping vertical.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving large-scale brand campaigns and activations across multiple channels from concept to execution. You will be a big brand storyteller and tactical thinker, with deep expertise in creative development and campaign measurement/ROI analysis. You are a strong cross-functional collaborator, and can partner effectively with teams across disciplines including Product Marketing, Business-to-Business Marketing, Media, Public Relations, Legal, and Finance.
Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
Responsibilities
- Drive creative brief development, cultivating insights from user research and Google data sources, and collaborating with the Product Marketing team to represent product truths.
- Manage agency and production partners to deliver impact, while maintaining brand consistency and campaign cohesiveness across channels.
- Collaborate with the internal Media team and agency partners, to drive media planning, execution, optimization, and measurement.
- Cultivate and execute initiatives such as partnerships, influencer programs, and activations that help land key messages and elevate the Google Shopping brand in culture.
- Manage a small team of talented marketers to ensure efficient execution while prioritizing team culture, development, and growth.
