Account Coordinator, PR and Social Media

We are seeking an Account Coordinator or AC to join our team immediately. As an AC, you will assist with the day-to-day execution of our public relations and social media activities, while also building solid relationships with media and influencers.
The main responsibilities of an Account Coordinator, include:
- Be an integral part of your account teams, implementing public relations and social media activities, including media-worthy partnerships, product launch campaigns and national PR activations
- Assist with PR and social media account programming and deliverables, both from annual plans, as well as reactive assignments brought forth by clients
- Assist in the development of all client materials including press materials, POVs and yearly plans
- Participate in weekly conference calls with clients
- Conduct ongoing media outreach for clients
- Participate in media interviews
- Execute earned and paid influencer campaigns
- Manage the day-to-day scheduling of social content for both owned and paid social campaigns

The ideal Account Coordinator or AC candidate must demonstrate the following skills/experience:
- Must be available to start in March 2022.
- 1 year demonstrated public relations and social media internship experience
- Knowledge of Cision, Muckrack or other media database tools
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Superior writing skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, clear, concise writing style, combined with the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field
