Marketing Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Manager builds awareness for the hotel and restaurant, working in partnership with the Director of Sales & Marketing, other departments, and Nobu Hotels corporate office. Areas of responsibility include public relations, social media, e-marketing and advertising. Our ideal candidate demonstrates superior writing and editing skills, and the ability to effectively communicate the hotel and restaurant stories.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the key contact for public relations, media and marketing agencies to build brand awareness and guest engagement for the hotel.
- Lead and execute packages, promotions, and partnerships to support hotel initiatives including, but not limited to, photo and video creation, website updates and distribution to the operations team for guest communication.
- Lead bi-weekly PR meetings/calls outlining initiatives with PR agency.
- Coordinate all media visits including accommodations, restaurant dining, activities, and hotel tour.
- Manage Social Media channels; engage in conversations and activities; activate hotel social marketing efforts; and provide monthly performance reports (Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube). Work with the Nobu Hotels corporate office on brand direction and protocols.
- Prepare, collaborate, and execute integrated marketing plan with DOSM.
- Manage hotel activation and promote special events, need period/ holidays, influencer, and other partnership events.
- Prepare communication plans to ensure that all new initiatives are rolled out effectively.
- Generate monthly email marketing campaigns for the hotel and restaurant.
- Support the Restaurant GM to create and execute a programming strategy for restaurant outlets.
- Manage all advertising (both digital and print) and marketing activities.
- Manage hotel transactional email templates and update as needed.
- Maintain hotel databases and enforce all Corporate CRM marketing best practices.
- Act as the brand ambassador ensuring that all communication is aligned with brand standards.
- Maintain hotel website with updates made in the CMS.
- Maintain hotels image library.
- Lead and execute all photography shoots with Brand direction and approval.
- Maintain and update imagery on all OTA extranets and 3rd party sites.
- Prepare the marketing budget, forecasts, and other reports as directed/required.
- Manage the hotels collateral and ensure that all collateral is aligned with the brand standards.
- Update all calendars and disseminate information to operations and hotel team.
- Create and maintain calendar of events for guest communication.
- Identify and cultivate strategic, on brand partnerships within the local market.
- Manage creative request process ensuring that the creative is authentic and on brand.
- Support of sales and marketing operation, i.e., lead sharing program, create group and leisure sales promotions, work with Human Resources on hiring events and engagement.
- Conduct and attend weekly meetings as required/ requested.
- Attend client functions as and when required.

- This position requires two years of marketing and public relations experience with a luxury brand.
- Superior writing and editing skills, and the ability to effectively communicate the hotel and restaurant stories.
- Proficient with WordPress (CMS) and Adobe Photoshop and/or InDesign.
- Experience compiling data, managing a budget, and developing a strategic marketing plan.
- CRM experience with marketing and transactional email campaigns.
- Experience working with vendors and proficient with organic search, PPC, and display advertising.
- Proficient with all channels of social media, content creation and activations. Experience with Sprout Social preferred.
- Experience developing strategic partnerships and collaborative events.
- Very organized, detail oriented and completes work in timely manner.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Meets legal age requirements for the position.
EDUCATION
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.
- 4-5-years experience in the Sales and Marketing, or related professional area, in a management position.
- Strong Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel knowledge is required.
Preferred:
- University degree
- Hotel industry work experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.
