Pepper is an unabashedly confident bra brand intentionally designed to celebrate the beauty of small busted bodies in all their glory. Serving sizes AA, A, B cups across a wide range of band sizes, we’re on a mission to empower small-chested people of all sizes with thoughtfully designed, well-fitting bras. Since launching on our 470% funded Kickstarter in 2017, our singular focus around fit has enabled Pepper to triple YoY and rapidly amass a thriving community of adoring customers.
This is where you come in.
The Social Media Manager will report to the Director of Brand Marketing and act as the voice of the Pepper brand across organic social media communities like Instagram, Facebook Groups, Pinterest, TikTok, Youtube and more. You will develop, create, and curate content that will be seen by more than 100K followers. The Social Media Manager will own the strategy and execution to scale our following and engagement as well as bring in new customers to Pepper through social.
- Significantly grow the reach and engagement of our organic social accounts through share-worthy content and viral follower growth strategies
- Conceive, implement and measure social marketing campaigns on a daily basis across channels
- Own the social content calendar and collaborate with Product and Marketing to ensure campaigns, launches, sales and seasonal messaging is incorporated
- Unlock organic social media as a growth driver that contributes to site traffic, awareness and revenue
- Publish content on channels while ensuring all posts are accurate, punctual, on-brand
- Work closely with Creative to execute and produce high performing and beautiful content
- Partner with Influencer Marketing to ensure a consistent cadence of high quality user generated content for social
- Utilize social listening tools to keep a pulse community sentiment, identify opportunities for Pepper to engage in the conversation, and distill customer feedback into actionable reports for Product and Marketing teams
- Collaborate with Customer Experience on social customer service protocols and response

- Passionate about Pepper’s mission to redefine body standards
- At least 3 years of social media marketing experience at a beloved brand
- Skilled in storytelling and finding interesting ways to convey a message
- Has an eye for strong visuals and what’s “trending”
- Curious about testing new ideas and trying new tactics
- Ability to edit imagery and video content using tools like Photoshop and apps
- Operates at the speed of social, and can pivot quickly and juggle multiple projects and deadlines
- Up to date on the latest social media content trends and emerging platforms
- Sharp attention to detail and and eye for catching typos
- Highly organized with strong project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
