Brand & Influencer Strategist
About this Role:
We’re looking for a full-time NYC-Based Brand & Influencer Strategist (Chief Brand Coordinator) to join the Curated by Jamie team, that will be responsible for managing new brand initiatives, along with managing campaign execution to support the growth and awareness of our client partners. You will touch various aspects of influencer marketing: strategy, creative briefs, analytics, relationship and account management. You will develop and execute marketing initiatives, create/oversee campaign timelines, create and manage budgets, and ensure overall client satisfaction. Additionally, you will be instrumental in building future verticals of Curated by Jamie, working side-by-side with our Founder to formulate & execute on business development opportunities.
We work with a hybrid remote/in-person model but ask that you only apply to this role if you are NYC-based. We’re scaling fast, so this is a dynamic role with the opportunity to grow your role & responsibilities quickly.
Responsibilities:
- Ideate, build & execute multi-faceted influencer marketing campaigns (from one-offs to long-term, relationship-based programs) across categories: beauty, wellness, health, fin-tech & more.
- Bring, develop & help to maintain strong relationships with influencers across categories. Work with influencers to create engaging, authentic, branded content. Manage all influencer outreach, budgets, negotiations – and other parts of campaign workflow.
- Consistently provide a top-tier client experience; confident building and maintaining a working relationship, presenting concepts, & delivering clear recommendations and influencer strategy.
- Be our in-house expert on all things social & influencer – stay up to date with trends to help us push campaign boundaries.
- Generate client-facing reports & be comfortable presenting results. Optimize future campaigns for performance by analyzing learnings.
- Lead & assist with new client pitching & new business processes: pitching, fielding calls, putting strategy together, etc.
- Help lead & execute on new business initiatives outside of influencer marketing campaigns (i.e. new ventures, influencer network expansion, etc.). Be instrumental in making suggestions for business development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2-4 years experience in PR/influencer marketing, running paid campaigns from start-to-finish (agency or in-house brand experience at a CPG company is a plus)
- Strong existing influencer relationships to bring with you.
- Comfortable working with multiple brands at one time – must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, jump between roles, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Working knowledge of influencer landscape across all social platforms (specifically IG and TikTok) and evidence of a developed social/web presence.
- Understanding of influencer partnership structure & workflow: sourcing, evaluating, pitching, rate negotiating, contracting (FTC guidelines & contract wording)
- Must be an excellent problem-solver and have strong communication skills to liaise with client-facing communications.
- Excellent analytical & quantitative skills, with strong understanding of social platform analytics, marketing analytics & ROI.
- Strong knowledge of: Google Docs, Google Sheets, Slack.
- Experience working with Grin, MightyScout, Tribe Dynamics or other influencer marketing CRM platforms is a plus!
- Experience within multiple categories and verticals of consumer products such as CPG, beauty, health/wellness, fitness, fashion, lifestyle and beyond is a plus!
