Influencer Marketing Manager

Cogent World is seeking a full-time Influencer Marketing Manager to join our remote office. The role requires at least 3 years with hands-on social, digital, and influencer experience and should have a passion for all things sports and pop culture.

Cogent is a marketing agency specializing in experiential and talent partnerships with remote offices in 10+ cities. We’ve been named Ad Age’s “Best Places to Work” and Crain’s “Best Places to work in NYC”.

The Influencer Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks associated with social media and influencer campaigns as part of Cogent’s Talent Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sources and vets relevant Influencers to engage per campaign
  • Works with the greater team to ideate and execute campaign concepts
  • Builds relationships with talent agents/agencies,
  • Develop a presence with key personnel at Talent Agencies, Players Unions, Teams, and Leagues
  • Acts as a liaison between talent agents and clients, fully managing programs
  • Builds creative briefs and campaign recaps to be shared with the client
  • Engages with Influencers and tastemakers across multiple verticals
  • Monitors industry trends and stays on top of the latest innovations, tech trends, news, and more

Team/Agency Contributions

  • Works seamlessly with the Talent team and key senior management to bring digital programs to life
  • An expert and/or passion for the sports, pop-culture, and social/digital space
  • Contributes to the agency’s overall company culture, atmosphere and exudes a positive outlook

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required

Experience: A minimum of 3 years with hands-on social and digital experience in the sports industry

Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience and understanding of social media best practices and analytics
  • Ability to build decks in PowerPoint and/or KeyNote
  • Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple programs
  • A go-getter with a willingness to learn and strong proactive qualities
  • Great interpersonal skills and experience supporting and working within a team
  • Experience using CreatorIQ a plus
