AO + co is working with a pre-launch beauty company to find someone to lead the Influencer Partnership program. This role is fully remote.

They are looking for an experienced team member to own our Influencer Partnership program in support of our brand vision and business goals. You will be working in a fast paced, creative environment that offers an opportunity to help mold an influencer program from

the ground up, playing an integral part of building an exciting new skincare brand. This role is on the Brand Marketing team reporting to the VP of Brand Marketing. This is a remote position, although it may require some travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and own our influencer marketing program across nano, mid-tier, and macro to increase awareness and affinity for the brand; establish strategies for brand launches, paid programs, seeding / gifting, and replenishment
  • Cultivate a deep sense of community between partners and the brand, consistently asking for and integrating their feedback into strategy and going the extra mile to illustrate they are a valued member of our community
  • Track performance of partners, reporting consistently on KPIs; Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure top performing content is considered for additional owned channels; highlight actionable insights
  • Consistently source, pitch and negotiate partnerships with influencers and content creators, while supporting and fostering strong relationships with the existing community
  • Partner with Social Media & Content to manage briefing and reviewing sourced UGC, and distributing it across paid and organic marketing channels
  • Concept and execute influencer events and activations
  • Capture and communicate brand look, values, and mission with consistency across influencer partnerships
  • Stay up-to-date on trends and tools for influencer marketing, suggesting new ways to innovate and enhance our approach, while keeping the team up-to-date on best practices
  • Partner with the VP of Brand Marketing to manage Influencer Partnerships Budget
  • Play a key part of fostering an environment of collaboration, inclusivity, curiosity and creativity across teams

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of influencer marketing with beauty and/or DTC experience preferred
  • Deep understanding of social media space and emerging trends across platforms
  • Impeccable interpersonal skills with a love for building deep one-on-one relationships and creating a warm community
  • Strong organization, project management, and negotiation skills
  • Have the ability to analyze metrics to drive actionable next steps
  • Existing influencer relationships in beauty space is a bonus
  • Enthusiastic about the chance to build an influencer marketing program from the ground up
