manuela mejia is a social media consultant with 5+ years experience ideating, creating + executing social media strategies for brands, restaurants, and personalities in the hospitality industry. she is based in nyc.
responsibilities
* assist in managing existing and prospective social media accounts
* engage in daily community management across various accounts
* research and discover trends across various social media verticals (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest)
* assist in the creation and editing of written, video and photo content
* research and assist in performing outreach to influencers for various paid + gifted influencer campaigns
* assist founder with administrative tasks (research, communications, sourcing content, organizing files, etc.)
ideal canditate has/is:
* minimum of 1 year experience in social media and/or community management
* extensive knowledge + experience in Instagram, TikTok and/or Pinterest
* experience creating and sourcing content
* experience in influencer marketing (building influencer lists, performing outreach, acquiring feedback)
* knowledge of food/hospitality industry (chefs, restaurants, food brands, nightlife)
* attentive to detail and organizational skills
* excited to collaborate + support across multiple accounts
* open to learning + excited about researching trends, tools + platform updates
